Mahama to prove his Innocence of Corruption

President Mahama to prove his Innocence of Corruption before the Dreadful Fetish “Nana Antoa Nyamaa”

No responsible Ghanaian is begrudging the caretaker-President Mahama the glory of his newfound position. He is the one rather joyous and thankful to God for the demise of the late President Atta Mills. He feels ever thankful to God that President Mills passed to pave the way for him to become a caretaker-President. Was he with his supporters not punching the air barely four hours into the death of President Mills saying, God has destined him to become a President of Ghana? Truly, the wise men said, “the demise of one is the cause of joy and success for the other”, thus, “one man’s meat, is another man’s poison”. This is just a prelude to my topic of discussion today.

President Mahama, that arrogant man with assumed air of superiority, has thrown a challenge to Ghanaians. He challenges anyone who feels he, Mahama, is corrupt, to institute any fact finding process against him. He says, “I am ready to appear before any investigative body willing to look into whether or not I am corrupt”.

Before I proceed any further, let me define the word CORRUPTION as I understand it to President Mahama. Corruption is defined as dishonest or fraudulent conduct by those in power, typically involving bribery. To be corrupt is to have or show a willingness to act dishonestly in return for money or personal gain. The personal gain can be in many forms. Using your position to influence a woman in order to get into her pants is much as well an act of corruption as taking a bribe. When using the influence of your position to fraudulently assist members of your family, friends or party amounts to corruption. Was President Mahama not privy to the dubious payment of judgment debt to Alfred Agbesi Woyome before it became public knowledge? If he was, but kept quiet and pretended unawareness, when it became a public issue, then he has a question bordering on corruption to grapple with.

I am now challenging President Mahama to come again if he feels he has not engaged himself in any corrupt practices. I will take him before Nana Antoa Nyamaa, that renowned fetish in the Ashanti Region. Nana Antoa Nyamaa shrine is equally an investigative body as any Law court. The fetish, unlike the Law courts, will implement the punishment or the verdict to be issued there and then.

I personally believe President Mahama is more corrupt than the word Corrupt. For the fact of saying Nana Akuffo-Addo’s free Senior High Secondary school is not good or feasible, but goes to launch his campaign manifesto and declares he, Mahama, will implement basic free education in 2016 amounts to worse form of corruption.

Is John Mahama ready to go with me to Nana Antoa Nyamaa to declare his innocence of corruption? As I do not suffer fools kindly, and have avid hatred for especially, baloney statements from those who have no respect for me as the son of cocoa farmers, I will not hesitate to drag Mahama to Nana Antoa Nyamaa shrine.

Does he take up the challenge or he will dive as usual? Has he got the needed solid balls in-between his legs to challenge me? The ball is rolling and bouncing in his court.

Ghanaians, please let us not allow politicians to perpetually take us for a rough ride or fools. I am now holding the bull (Mahama) by the horns. “Who says man no dee?”
