Who will defend the interest of women?

Wed, 5 Dec 2012 Source: Issifu, Alhaji Issaka

H. E. John Dramani Mahama or Nana Addo

Dankwa Akufo Addo? “..... as sex assaul report resurfaces in the cloud of doubts….”

Women interest is a common interest to

all honorable men and women, but sexual assault on women is a pain more on

women that must be reported to the police at all costs. Who would defend the

rights of women better amongst the current Presidential candidates? This is the

question for our daughters, sisters, spouses, girlfriends and mothers on Friday,

December 7, 2012 as we vote.

As we continue to reveal details of the

tortures of the “horror diplomacy” under the NPP’s Envoy to Japan, H. E.

Dr. Barfuor Adjei-Barwuah. It is painful to report how the inactions of

officialdom created this monstrous diplomatic situation with multiple victims

including Alhaji Issaka Issifu, the Diplomat In Exile, now reporting from the

“Marple Woods.”

As part of the “TOKYO MISSION STATEMENT”

series, the Part One released today is

on the attacks on the Ministry of Foreign affairs by the former envoy of

Ex-President Kufuor, Dr. Adjei-Barwuah and the manner a “sex assault” report

made by a Diplomat name withheld for obvious reasons (Sophia Akolor), then the

Ambassador Adjei-Barwuah’s secretary, made to the then Minister of Foreign

Affairs and one of the leading Presidential Candidates for this elections, Nana

Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and how the latter handled the sex assault allegation

requires some explanations.

In a recently retrieved audio recordings

of a speech by the former envoy to Japan now available on Youtube

(2012CONFIDENCE), Dr. Adjei-Barwuah declared his hidden hatred to the Ministry

of Foreign Affairs and all whistleblowers; Investigators; the Intelligence

Agencies and their respective officers and then delivered what is consider an open

harassment to the Audit Service and its newly posted Officers, who was welcomed

at the “no one is allowed to talk meeting” held at conference hall at the Tokyo

Embassy in Japan. This track again was from extracts of the “Mission Statement,”

which was delivered by Ambassador (Dr.) Barfuor Adjei-Barwuah at a welcome

meeting for a newly posted "AUDITOR." The Ambassador had been against

any whistleblowing MDAs at “his Mission” in Tokyo.

Our mothers, spouses and sisters, you

know that a crying baby particularly at the late hours of the night is not just

making noise. Listen to this cry. The baby might be communicating serious

concerns. Gradually the ears that hear will give reason and fairness a chance,

as we keep seeking justice from our country, Ghana, which many of us served

under this Ambassador. Perhaps you would further agree with us that the purpose

of the “Mission Statement” was to declare himself the untouchable and capable

of doing all things /everything at all times without any official consequences:

· A case in mind

is the "sex assault" allegation reported to the Minister of Foreign

Affairs, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, also a former Attorney General and

Minister of Justice of our country under Ex-President J. A. Kufuor. What did he do

or didn’t do is the

essence of the first recordings released.

Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as one of

the leading Presidential candidates, representing the NPP in the 2012

Presidential Elections, should listen to these audios or watch the still videos

that are coming out at least to be able to tell Ghanaians and the world the

truth. By his political standing in Ghanaian politics, it makes his actions and

inactions unnecessarily in the lime light but justifiable so to know who he is

and what the possible Nana Akufo-Addo Presidency awaits Ghanaians. Is it the

let it be, I don’t care or the adhesion of the rule of law and democratic

principles that all his counterparts; the Presidential contenders, claim to

offer mother Ghana and our women mother Ghana and our women?

If a LADY diplomat complains to a former

Attorney General and Minister of Justice that she was sexually “assaulted” not

“harassed”

or as generally put to us sometimes, “sexually abused.” The immediate action is

to ask her or assist her to make a police report no matter the relationship one

has with such a victim. Uncertain this was done, we will for the benefit of the

doubt call on the revered former Minister (a lawyer) to tell Ghanaians his side

of the occurrences that almost took the Ministry of Foreign Affairs into court

for a sexual allegations made by a female foreign service officer on an Ambassador,

Dr. Barfuor Adjei-Barwuah. The former Ambassador equally deserves fairness just

as the former Minister and NPP Presidential candidate.

It is only appropriate that former Attorney

General, Hon. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo presents his case to rebuff the

claims of the Ambassador as in the recordings, perhaps based on the bluff that everyone

can now listen at any time. Then we can be certain or be able ascertain in a

Nana Akufo-Addo Presidency, our daughters, our sisters, our spouses and mothers

can be adequately protected. No matter who and what influence the sex abuser

acquires.

As we make our claims for fairness in

respect to the inhuman and undiplomatic treatment of Alhaji Issaka Issifu, now

known as the “Ghanaian Diplomat In Exile,” it would be fair to restrain

ourselves from linking the honorable former Minister to such acts of negligent

that may give reason to believe truly Dr. Barfuor Adjei-Barwuah is an

untouchable citizen of Ghana. If that status “untouchable,” is proper and

reasonable, then we as a people, as Ghanaians may properly initiate

parliamentary proceedings to give other citizens such an admirable “status” that

is strange in modern world international relations and politics. However, if there

is evidence that Dr. Adjei-Barwuah has the propensity, capability and ability to

turn every defense into an attack, this should be known before we go to the

polls. Then someone needs to do some explanations to Ghana.

The recordings may be worrying to many

political fanatics. So please do avoid listening if you are a “die hard political

functionary” who does not want the truth. It is however in real context and we

urge many concerned Ghanaians to listen attentively.

Ladies, Gentlemen and Fellow Ghanaians

at least we can quote that Dr. Barfuor Adjei-Barwuah said "... I took her

into the Residence, vacated my

matrimonial bed, so that she could

be cared for, for two weeks, managed to get someone else to escort her back

home so that she could get a bit better, turns around and writes on the internet

that I had sexually assaulted her

...?" Further, according to the tape, "... Ministry wound not do

anything…, referring to the Foreign Ministry and whose was that? Nana Addo

Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s Ministry, and so we will then ask what will Nana’s

Presidency, give, our women? We will appreciate if the Ambassador can

generously again, to expatiate. Certainly, Nana has the onerous to tell

Ghanaians something reasonable.

The

former Ambassador’s attacks on whistleblowers and their agencies i.e.

investigators, the Research Department, and the Audit Department was also

clearly signposted. As a policy, Ambassador Adjei-Barwuah said;

“… if I (Adjei-Barwuah), as the ambassador,

who is supposed to be the garbage collector of it all; ".... should not know ...."

or "..... does not know ? ....."

anything sent to Accra, “… that for me is sabotage…!”

To therefore report an event, an

Ambassador or write about his Mission to Accra under any circumstances meant;

"the Ambassador (Adjei-Barwuah) was beeing paralyzed or assassinated

deliberately by officers?

His

Excellency Ambassador Dr. Barfuor Adjei-Barwuah concluded that "... the

whole Ministry of Foreign Affairs was some kind of a CLUB…” then under Nana

Akufo-Addo? Again what will be this great Ghanaian’s presidency considering his

Ministry as a Club? The Ambassador gave

a clue that the diplomats by his inference, under Hon. Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo's

watch could “… put the whole country on a "chopping board." This is

according to an NPP Ambassador, a former Presidential aspirant and a possible

Cabinet Minister for a Nana Akufo-Addo Cabinet. Ladies and gentlemen Ghanaians,

what Ambassador Adjei-Barwuah SAYS could be false and it could be RIGHT! If

Nana does not correct the slur on his competence, then we can adduce those

claims to true and the consequences would be based on YOUR VOTE!

Alhajia Issaka Issifu and many victims

were casualties at work, abiding by our constitution, civil service

regulations, and diplomatic etiquettes. No diplomat deserves to be treated like

a schoolboy. For the Ambassador to declare that,

“… if I, as the Ambassador,

who is supposed to be the garbage collector of it all; ".... should not

know ...." or "..... does not

know ? ....." that for me is sabotage!” Such an act means "… the

Ambassador is been paralyzed or assassinated…”

Implying anything or report sent to the

Government of the Republic of Ghana, its Ministries, Departments and Agencies

without his knowledge is an act of sabotage was too extreme, especially knowing

why. Even the NPP government as a show of sympathy and love could not contain

this Ambassador. The decision to send specialists to help the Tokyo Mission was

to save him from a day like this but Dr. Adjei-Barwuah refused every help and proceeded

to embarrass himself as an Ambassador, Ex-President J. A. Kufuor, the man he so

much represented than Ghanaians, embarrassed the Embassy, all concerned MDAs

and the Ghanaian community in Japan.

To Ambassador Adjei-Barwuah, any

individual, group or government establishment that reports any event, an Ambassador

or write about an Embassy (his mission) to Accra means; "the ambassador is

been paralyzed or assassinated?

For instance, by its operations, the

Research Department (R/D) is a semi-autonomous government establishment with

its perimeters established by an Act of Parliament within the 1992

Constitution. The Department should not necessarily notify an Ambassador of its

activities at both the station and agency level. If so desired, the President

of Ghana can variedly notify anybody of whatever information given to him accordingly.

By the Ambassador Dr. Adjei-Barwuah's definition and inferences of sabotage, it

was indicative of his prior refusal to open a Research Station and accept

auditors at the Tokyo Mission when he was President Kufuor’s envoy. Further

then, he as the Ambassador speaking also meant the activities of the R/D, its

stations and agents activities that are only for levels of governance above and

mostly unknown to him as an Ambassador, Dr. Barfuor Adjei-Barwuah, were all

acts of sabotage. To the Ambassador, Dr. Adjei-Barwuah, as an R/D Officer, even

before my nomination, postings and arrival, I was a saboteur, vandal or ecowarrior.

I simply had no way to survive and the agency that deliberately posted me

abandoned me just as the Minister, Hon. Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo all in support

of a now identified political nuisance known to them earlier and better than

me. I was the unnecessary, guinea pig! A northerner, a Muslim, a former

commando (Special Troop), a former National Security Officer at the Castle

Annex, who had, as repeatedly said to me “worked with Captain Kojo Tsikata”

under Chairman / President J. J. Rawlings. He is a “Mole” even before my

postings to Tokyo to work with Ambassador Adjei-Barwuah.

These two distinguished statesmen, Capt.

(rtd.) Kojo Tsikata and H. E. Ex-President J. J. Rawlings were alleged to have

sacked my then Chief Direct (Mr. J. K.

Mensah) and forcefully retired then (my)

Deputy Chief Director (Research Department), Nana B. K. Yeboah as a one-time Chief

Director of the Research

Department later hired back on contract. Both Capt. Kojo Tsikata and

Ex-President Rawlings my direct bosses for sometimes were allegedly the reasons

why former Ambassador (Dr.) Barfuor Adjei-Barwuah was detained at a military

barracks, when I was just a baby schoolboy preparing to write or was writing my

“O’Levels Examinations” at Bawku secondary School, which soon celebrates it

Golden Jubilee, far in the northern commercial district of Bawku Central.

Both revered senior citizens, Captain

Kojo Tsikata and Ex-President Rawlings are alive, in politics and I do not

regret my services with or for them in the interest of Ghana. And that has been

it throughout our working relationship. Many can have their reservations, but

in them I learnt to be honest and serve not to be served. I am yet to have a

decent, hardworking, genuine reformer boss as was experienced by many in Captain

(rtd.) Kojo Tsikata. It is no secret that both my adversaries and alleged

allies do know that in difficult times I stood for the truth and only the

truth.

No consular officer is ever recalled

because he denied a “GRATIS VISA” on the recommendations of a non-citizen

interpreter of any host country. Gradually, Ghana and the world will hear and

feel the truth of why a country pushes a diplomat into exile using state

resources. Don’t forget Azokans, as you go to the polls and prepare for our 50

Anniversary with or without some of us, that “Veritas Lux Mundi,” which in the

simple students lips means “Truth

is the light of the World.” That truth is setting me free even as I raise four

Ghanaian Children in Exile. We can and it is not an exaggeration, develop our

case with a daily publication if the media wants news throughout 2013 and for

sure in September 2012, we hope to stand before the gathering of world diplomats

in the cold or within air-conditioned environment to ask WHY? Why does the

Geneva Convention matter? Why didn’t the lady diplomat get justice?

Those of you who follow our “Solidarity

Campaign” on our facebook and now youtube sites do know what the Japanese

Police did to Alhaji Issaka Issifu on the instructions of “someone at the

Embassy.” You now also know what the alleged “sexually assaulted lady” reported

to the former Minister Hon. Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. It is fair even if the

former Minister of Foreign Affairs would not say a word on the numerous known

abuses of Ghanaians under the accreditation of H. E. Dr. Barfuor Adjei-Barwuah,

to tell women what his Presidency will do for sexually abused women and

children. This makes us able to compare the stewardship of other Presidential

candidates as they served as Ministers of State or even private citizens to

what Hon. Akufo-Addo was as a Minister of Foreign Affairs. Enough is said and

known about his able stewardship and lapses at the law office and that is human.

We ONLY want to know the TRUTH, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
