, on the alleged election fraud by the NDC
As the clock keeps ticking by the second, with the NPP uncertain about when to initiate or file court writ against the Electoral Commissioner on the alleged 2012 election fraud, many a sympathiser is beginning to have a second thought. Much as “procrastination is the thief of time”, so is holding people in needless suspension a great cause for worry.
When is the NPP leadership fulfilling its obligation to the NPP sympathisers and a host of other Ghanaians who feel cheated on election 2012, by dragging the Chairman of the Electoral Commission, Kwadwo Afari-Gyan, to court? The longer it takes them to fulfil this unique obligation or mandate to the people, the more people begin to doubt the credibility of their allegations of fraud against the Electoral Commissioner and his outfit.
I could bear witness to the abuse of incumbency, trust, and election malpractices by John Mahama and the NDC party, before, during and after the December 7, 2012 presidential and parliamentary elections. I was in Ghana and could see things with my “koro koro” (naked) eye. The NDC went berserk on vote buying spree in attempts to disenfranchise as many NPP voters as they could. They did not only use their party’s money but also, State money and machinery to finance their political campaign. Buying cars for people, dishing out pads of money, putting up houses for people, all with the aim to influencing the direction they cast their votes.
Who would in their normal frame of mind accord the roguish, incompetent NDC government and party a second four-year term in office, with all the gargantuan corruption masqueraded in dubious Judgment debt payments made all too vivid? Surely, Ghanaians are not hat stupid. Alfred Agbesi Woyome’s case of defrauding Ghana of GHC51 Million with the aid of the NDC government was more than enough to anger discerning Ghanaians to vote out the NDC government and party. Unless Ghanaians are telling me otherwise, which I am not aware of until now, the NDC rigged election 2012. This is my honest declaration of which I can take John Mahama, Kwadwo Afari-Gyana and the NDC on before God and our numerous powerful deities if they should throw in a challenge.
If the NPP cannot assemble enough water-tight evidence to nail Kwadwo Afari-Gyan on the election-defrauding cross, they should let Ghanaians know, and then call it the day. I do not want to be held in limbo any longer.
The complacency that I always complained about was allowed to creep into the election campaign of the NPP. I will not discuss my observations on this issue now but allow the party leadership time to drag Kwadwo Afari-Gyan to court by his “King Midas and his ass’ ear” ear.
I am always with the NPP but will never hesitate to castigate them when need be. They should learn to listen to those of us who go to the ground to see what is happening. We always hold the true information about how people feel and react to issues.
