Ouch! the Noose is Tightening upon the Neck of Alfred Agbesi Woyome

Alfred Agbesi Woyome is running faster than Usain Bolt (the world's No.1 fastest 100 m runner), yet, he cannot elude his pursuers. He is getting tired, panting, yet, he has to continue running in order to avoid apprehension by his ardent pursuers. He can run or sprint as faster as his legs would carry him, surpassing even the travel of sound or light yet; he will in the end have to confront with his pursuers who are travelling at the pace of the tortoise.

He can run but he cannot hide, I have always warned, and will continue to warn, him. How can he hide with Rockson, Hon. Martin Amidu, and Hon. Kennedy Agyapong among others, close on his bloody heels? If he tries to, we shall hound him out of his lair.

It will be an unmitigated disaster should we not be able to retrieve the gargantuan money (GHC51.2 M) so swindled, from Alfred Agbesi Woyome, the highly decorated swindler of the century as ascertained from the annals of Ghana's archived criminal records.

I would not even be keen to see Mr. Alfred Agbesi Woyome steal a cat, the traditional delicacy of his tribe, let alone dupe Ghana out of the too obvious huge sum of money. He has unduly connived with some persons in government to avail himself of an astronomical sum of the taxpayers' money.

The rogues calling themselves State prosecutors nominated to prosecute Woyome, have run out of tangible or flimsy excuse, for the continual deferments of the hearing of the case. Now, the case will be in full trial whether Woyome and his accomplices like it or not. Very soon, the scale of connivance and all those involved in the plot to swindle, and swindled Ghana, will be made known for the entire Ghanaian public and the whole world to see and hear.

I invite more Ghanaians to throw their weight behind us in our quest or fight to tackle Woyome for the refund of the money he so dubiously arranged to obtain from the government.

My readers will recall that he submitted fake documents edited by Alex Segbefia (Deputy Chief of Staff) and Co., to the court claiming a compensation for a breach of contract. He claimed barely after entering into contract with the Kufuor-led NPP government, and sourced funds, to rehabilitate some stadia in Ghana for the African Cup of Nations football tournament in 2008 (CAN 2008), when the government abrogated the contract.

Instead of the then Attorney General, Mrs. Betty Mould-Iddrisu, calling members of the Kufour-led NPP government with whom Woyome entered into a such supposedly contract, she went on her own separate, but conniving way, to order the payment of GHC51.2 million to Woyome. My personal source of information indicates that she took a chunk of the money as kickback. Can she deny this? Anyway, I am more interested in collecting the money back from Woyome than who assisted him to dupe Ghana or who took what. It is up to him to name them or to suffer alone, as insatiably greedy, stupid and a diehard thief as he is.

GHC10, 000 of the money he stole could have been used to construct a decent public toilet for the inhabitants of Asiampa, the nearly-deserted village of my maternal ancestors. The people there have no home or public toilet. Do not ask me where they attend to the nature's call for I may not be able to tell you even if I knew. Many villagers are suffering the same fate due to the repugnant thievery the clueless AttaMills/Mahama and Mahama/Arthur-Amissah-led NDC governments have visited upon Ghana.

I understand the Financial Division of the Fast Track High Court trying Woyome today, Tuesday 5 March 2013 adjourned the case after "a thorough examination and cross examination of former Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana (BoG), Vanlare Dosoo as the fifth prosecution witness". Frenchman says, "Petit à petit, l'oiseau fait son nid". Little by little, the bird constructs its nest. Gradually, we are getting to the point of collecting the money from Woyome and throwing him into jail for defrauding Ghana. If you are happy say AMEN!
