You know the problem of mass Hallucination and Illusion is not the preserve of only the illiterate, but moreover a disease that so-called learned people suffer from most.

  In Kufuor's time, the Asanteman Council was an extension of his Cabinet and Kumasi, the city he relished visiting to attend even oudourings, became the de facto capital of Ghana. Kufour once famously said that he couldn't find a suitable person from the Upper West Region to join his Cabinet in 2001. Worse, by 2003 he had raised the tribal crescendo to another notch by dropping all persons of northern extraction from his cabinet leaving only Hon Mustapha Idriss to represent the interests of the three northern regions within the Asnte- dominated cabinet of the divisive kufour. It is even said that during his tenure, even the other Akan tribes such as the Akwapims, Bonos, Fantis, Nzemas were so appalled by Kufuor's lack of discretion with regard to issues of national cohesion and were so suspicious of his grand Asante agenda that they began to withdraw their support for him and the NPP.
