Bravo, I was around the age of 17 when the Aliens Compliance Order took place and was very glad that such law was implemented.It gave our fellow Ghanaians the opportunity to take over the no go area of petty trading that was dominated by these foreigners who were siphoning our scare resources into their various countries and without paying any taxes in the country. And to that Tony Prosper, he is not a Nigerian as some people who commented claimed when he posted his article, but a Ghanaian of the number 9 extraction whose interest in making Ghana a better nation is questionable because of his political affiliation.

Before that evil draconian policy of your mentor, there has NEVER in the history of mama Africa, where fellow Africans are regarded as 'ALIENS' on the soil of Africa. But Ghanaians, being what they are, set the pace for the "XENOPHOBIC ACTIONS OF BLACK ON BLACK DISCRIMINATION" against their fellow Africans for being hard working and rich in Ghana. And you have the audacity to complain when Nigeria gave you the taste of your OWN MEDICINE when Shagari administration introduce the order of Ghana Must Go in the 80s.

Although I do not agree with the negative actions of Shagari govt. because two wrongs don't make a right, but people like you make me think sometimes that what is good for goose is also good for gander. The "HORRIBLE SEED OF GHANAIANS XENOPHOBIA ACO ORDER" has now germinated and become a terrible "MONSTER" affecting co-existing cultures between Africans from time immemorial, thanks to EVIL BUSIA, WHO WILL ROT IN HELL. For example, the horrible death of the Mozambique's driver, Mido Macia, in South Africa, was linked to the terrible XENOPHOBIA raging its ugly head in that country.

HORRIBLE article like this from a Ghanaian 'burger' immigrant, living at the mercy of his British hosts, (if all he really lives in UK). You complained that Nigerians dominated the petty trades in Ghana, hence the introduction of ACO order to flush them out so as to enable Ghanaians that take over what used to be the domain of Nigerians. If at all you live in UK, could you please tell me who dominate the business of "Off License Stores and most petty trades" in UK? The Indians and Pakistanis, and I do not see the British complaining.

One of the reason of the implementation of ACO order was due to the envy and PHD mentalities of Ghanaians, that their fellow black Africans, who happen to be Nigerians are prospering in their land, (through hard work), whilst the indigenes were not. Can you blame Nigerians for your lacked of business sense? (Now tell me, after you heartless flush Nigerians out through your wicked ACO order, what happen to you ailing economy afterward?....WORST. Nigeria was a much better and developed country, but after they sacked Ghana what happened, the 9ja economy crashed after few years. It also happened to Uganda after Idi Amin sacked the white people and Indians.

Ghana needs Nigeria more than Nigeria needs Ghana. If Ghana doesn't need Nigeria why did they open all the Nigerian shops they closed down last yr? I used to think Ghanaians are my brothers but after staying in Ghana for 3 months i realized these people cannot be trusted. I was thinking of opening branches of my busines in Ghana, but thank God i decided to visit and see things for myself before making any moves. The profit i make monthly in Lagos and Port Harcourt I cannot make it in Ghana in 4 months-FACT.

Besides, these days Nigerian economy is by far better than Ghana. There is electricity now in most Nigerian houses, while in Ghana the light is going off 7 times daily.

In Nigeria the population is there to buy your goods, in ghana there is none.

In Nigeria shops are cheaper and housing is cheap, in Ghana once they see you as a foreigner they want to take advantage and rip you off, including taxis.

I would like both countries to close their bothers, let Nigerians stay in Nigeria and Ghanaians stay in Ghana, lets see who suffers most.

Ghana Needs our gas to cook and power their cars. Anytime there is shortage of gas supply from Nigeria you will see lots of cue in Ghana.

Ghana needs our gas to power their power stations. Since the fault with Nigeria gas line there is little or no electricity in Ghana.

If Nigerians means business today and move all their businesses out of Ghana hundreds of thousands of Ghanaians will be affected with employment etc.

Check every ATM in Ghana carries ETRANSACT, and thats a Nigerian company, so Nigeria gets % from any ATM transaction in Ghana.

This is also especially tragic in the current atmosphere in London where various people are reflecting the legacy of Thatcher. Black people had to contend with vicious living condition like the "sus law". One of the definition of improving country is a sensible immigration policies that respect human rights but also encourages enterpreneur individuals to come and provide work and train the local people and enrich the country and also in the process enrich themselves.
I really had hoped you were in attendance yesterday at our local church service; the sermon was "bitterness". Your views do not represent most Ghanaians in London.
