I'm sure the above is alien to you. Say, the officer records on the pink sheets that he issued 100 ballot papers, and the sum of votes, valid and invalid, is 107, as in your example, you would have to RECONCILE with the ballot paper booklet.
So say, you checked and indeed he issued 107, would you still hand him.
I've seen some of the pink sheets in question and my brother, there's no case

Sir, am sorry but you are the obvious fool here, not K. Badu. His article is very interesting and educative and without bias. I'm sure most of the people who read it will learn a thing or two from it. The benefits of reading such intelligent articles are immeasurable, but what do you say to him? That he's a fool because he has not contributed a pesewa to Ghana?
Why do people want to measure everything in cedis and pesewas? Is that not the reason why every politician, government official, chief and even pastor are doing their best to steal from the people? Exactly so, because they're smart enough to know that the only 'thing' majority of Ghanaians/Africans respect, is money. Not knowledge, not decency, not morality, not integrity nor honesty. Why have we become so retarded?
You don't even know the guy but you assume he's cleaning toilets in the UK. Those of you who have never been anywhere are so ignorant it hurts. Do you know how many Ghanaian Engineers, Doctors, Accountants, Scientists, Artists, Lawyers, Actuaries, and others work at very high levels all over the world? Do you know K. Badu's job? And even if he's a toilet cleaner, is it not better to earn an honest keep than be a corrupt Deputy Minister in Ghana? Have you any idea what our people in the diaspora contribute to our GDP?
What makes you think that living in Ghana makes you more Ghanaian that K. Badu? Well, quite frankly, I don't know why I've allowed myself to be so rattled because you obviously are so dumb you don't deserve anyone's time.

You're not helping your cause with your raucous voice. Mr Badu has intelligently cast his pearls before the reading public hoping they'd be enabled to unravel the mystery surrounding elections rigging in Ghana and rid ourselves of the imminent dangers .He has treaded with the utmost caution. Unfortunately some of the pearls which were indiscriminately cast fell before swine and they are being trampled upon. What a shame!!!

Some political pundits and their aparatchiks hold the wrong notion that elections in Ghana have been rigging free. This is tantamount to saying that Ghana is a corruption free society and it's an industrialized nation.Any plan to continue with the blundering and fraudulent status quo is incongruous with reason and if we don't endeavor to rid ourselves of the twin cankers of corruption and election rigging they will kill us.
What I'm about to say will ruffle some feathers but so be it if it'd preserve national stability and cohesion.
Rigging of elections is not a new phenomenom in Ghana. It started with the coming to power of the CPP and has nothing to do with the Danquah/Busia tradition because between 1957 and 2000 they were in power for just 2 plus years during the Busia administration.
The cockerel lost power in a coup after 9 uninterrupted years of tyrannical rule and fell out of favor. In its stead emerged the audacious NDC which was a motley collection of mostly CPP activists and some disgruntled elements of the Danquah/Busia tradition. The grounded, wounded and ailing cockerel unable to carry on passed the entire rigging machinery to the NDC who mastered it to a near perfection.
Obviously some social democrats of the NDC are clutching their pearls over my comments, perhaps frothing at the mouth but I remain unfazed. I'd rather speak the truth and shame the devil than watch my nation slip into oblivion.
We had elections monitors who declared the elections free and fair. Really? Were they mere loafers, drunks, junkies or just a handpicked bunch of mercenaries who earned their pay by turning the blind eye? The election petition will hopefully unravel all the hidden mysteries and grant us the opportunity to make a fresh start in our political journey to a prosperous nation.

Read over your article and ask yourselve why did you convenietly leave out the 1969 and the 2004 general elections. May I ask who organised them and whether it was free and fair? Can you see similarities between your article and the petitioners evidence at the supreme court? For a reminder, only pink sheets of polling stations where Akofo Addo lost were presented to the SC for consideration. Honesty will always cost less effort, my brother. Bye

Are you sure? If indeed the petitioners presented the pink sheets from polling stations where Akufo Addo lost, then the respondents have performed badly by not attaching all the pink sheets Akufo Addo won which have no anomalies to their responses to the court. And, why did the respondents object to the petitioners attempt to present evidence contrary to such claim? Come again Sir, because your explanation is ambiguous.

If the petitioners knew (and they did) that there were the same type of errors in the areas they won, they could have brought that pertinent fact to court to argue that despite that info, Nana should be declared the winner because of this or that reason. But in their dubious ways, they brought only the areas they lost and, instead of stating that these were errors, they preferred to label them "irregularities" with the implication that some rigging took place. When Tsatsu made Bawumia to admit that such errors occurred in areas they won, it was then too late to submit any more pink sheets because these would not be part of their affidavits. And Tsatsu would not want them to submit new info because he would like to leave the impression that the petitioners are not honest. And he repeated this several times to Bawumia "if you are honest to yourself". And that's the rub of it.

Mr. K Badu, please talk about election in Kojo Badukrom and stop this big english. You see, at a polling station in Kumasi, the man who was counting the ballot papers had put black ink in his hair and anytime he saw a thump print at the top, which signal a vote for Mahama, pretended to scratch his hair but rather ink his thump and in the process of opening the ballot paper created another thump prints mark beside another presidential candidate rendering the vote useless, by the double voting, hence a high number of spoilt ballots during the election. What big english will explain this Kumasi stealing. Come again Mr. Badu
