Like a bird fluttering into the engine of an airborne plane to cause an unintentional accident, so have the irregularity-filled pink sheets induced headache in the camp of the NDC.
The problematic pink sheets have found their way into the spinning wheels of the NDC propaganda machine. The machine is now squeaking and screeching to a halt with those attending stricken with uncontrollable panic.
Who hurled the pink sheets at the machine? Was it not Philip Addison, the Lead Counsel for the petitioners in Election 2012 case pending in the Supreme Court? Why did he do that, one may ask? He discovered that the Electoral Commission chaired by Dr Kwadwo Afari Gyan had colluded to rig the election in favour of then presidential-candidate John Dramani Mahama.
When Philip Addison detected the numerous irregularities on the face of the pink sheets, he questioned Dr Afari Gyan about how they all came about. Dr Afari Gyan accepted that they are all human and administrative errors. OVER-VOTING, administrative error. UNSIGNED PINK SHEETS, human error. VOTING WITHOUT BIOMETRIC VERIFICATION, machine & human error. Then all these errors add up to elect an ERROR PRESIDENT, right, Philip Addison queried. Then off, he let go the error pink sheets. Unfortunately, they fell on the NDC propaganda machine, thereby causing disquiet among the NDC faithful when their propaganda machine was thrown off gear, hurtling down the road into a ditch.
Some of the sheets were caught in the engine and others on the wheels. As the engine began to stutter, the wheels screeched to a halt. The NDC are worried. They have assembled all their engineering mechanics. They are Koku Anyidoho, Alex Segbefia, former Supreme Court Justice Francis Kpegah, Benoni Amekudze, Kwesi Pratt, Gabby Asuming, Steven Atugiba, and Bernard Morna.
They have all rushed out with various tools in hand eager to fix the problem. Nevertheless, the harm is already done. Koku Ayidohu searches through his tools box, comes out, does a marathon to where the propaganda machine is stalled armed in both hands with Margaret Jackson (screw driver) and Nana Akua Tweneboah-Koduah (spanner). Kwesi Pratt comes along wiping sweat off his forehead, cursing the day he was born. He says, "The Chief Justice has no authority to override the nine-panel judges' decision not to accord live telecast to the election 2012 petition before the Supreme Court. The live telecast is impacting negatively on the productivity of the country".
Bernard Morna goes to the Supreme to be reassured that anyone of the parties in the Election 2012 case can appeal after the Supreme Court passing judgment. The judges should also not sit on public holidays. Steven Atugiba says the NDC will never handover power regardless of the Supreme Court's final decision where Nana Akufo Addo is declared the winner.
From the above, the NDC are desperate to repair their propaganda machine that has broken down. Unfortunately for them, the engine is damaged beyond repair by the volume of incriminating pink sheets. The pink sheets are too many, stuck deeply inside the engine and are very difficulty to retrieve. The tools are not adapted to the problem so try as the mechanics do, they cannot repair it. The engine has to be written off. Even Dr Wereko Brobbey, alias Tarzan, tried with his animal friendly but tough tools yet, he could not be of much help to the NDC propaganda machine.
