If government continues to invest in Akonfem that flies to Burkina. If government continues to display lack of vision. If government continues to pay lip service to youth employment. If government plays politics with agric sector. If government continues to destroy interventions that alleviates the poor.I may not be surprise,it took Rawlings some few days to change our history. Why Ghana will not burn, will always be said by those who do not know the difference between petrol and matches.

Rawlings killed and tortured for years, but Ghana did not burn. The fact is the silent majority do without government help in their lives. They will therefore not die for an politician to stay in power.

If we want to continue enjoying peace then we must work for it.The key word for assuring peace in the country is for the losers to accept the verdict graciously. In Kenya,Nigeria,Uganda and Zambia all the losers of the petition accepted the verdict graciously and there was total peace.I disagree with lawyer Phillip Addison's address that the SC must satisfy the losers as condition for peace.Thank you.

This is an article of common sense. This types of article encourages non performers like the current government. By the way from the periods you referred to what had happened to countries apparently peaceful like Ghana within the period? Can you cast your mind back in the last five years what the democracy had brought to the continent with poor and dictatorial leaders? I beg your pardon. Let us be careful. On the security services, it should be ringing in their head that there is human rights and crimes against humanity. Can you recollect the Sri Lanka case recently? You just don't shoot anybody because we bought the gun for you to protect the country. Our motto is freedom and justice. That is what Dr. Kwame Nkrumah bestowed on us. Anything else is secondary

Chris, Ghana's political history has always been on different path. Other countries rather learn from us, we do not learn from them. God leads us on.
God bless our Ghana
