A leader with great qualities like Rawlings, Kuffour, Mills or Mahama can be found in all the tribes in Ghana. Given equal opportunity, we can find such qualities in every tribe in Ghana. Afterall Rawlings, Kuffour and Mahama are not scholars. As long as the person has good judgement to surround himself or herself with good people, he or she can succeed. There are certain basic requirements that are needed in a good leader. Being good looking with brains does not hurt!!!

(2) All Ga Adangbe People as a whole and All Ga Adangbes mention in (1) with one Accord/Opinion/Mind and for good, must make a Decree/Law, or make it a Gas tradition that should never dare to be broken, that All Gas as a whole must Progress/Develope/Make their Lives Civilise, make their State/Accra/Ghana and where ever they are in the World Civilise. All Ga Adangbe People as a whole must for good take up big and small Positions in Ghana and in the World, including Presidential position and any other Great position in Ghana/World. All Gas as a whole must/should be best in their positions they acquire in Ghana/World. In achieving this, All Gas as a whole and all Gas mention in (1) with one accord/opinion/mind and for good must make a Decree/Law, or make it a Gas tradition that should never dare to be broken, that every Ga child/person must/compulsory go to school with the Mentality/Aim of becoming Greatest, Great in Ghana/World. (3) All Ga Adangbe People as a whole, and All Ga Adangbes mention in (1) with one Accord/Opinion/Mind and as Tradition, for good, must/compulsory Speak, Read and Write to each other and among them selves in (Ga Adangbe as their First and Fore most Major Language) in Accra particularly, Ghana and the World.

(4) All Ga Adangbes as a whole Must Never Dare allow their State/Accra/Ghana and with Its Big/Great/Top Positions (may include A Presidential Position), be taken over by non Ga Adangbe person, strangers, outsiders, and foreigners. It is wise that Ga Adangbe People must rule Ghana and Accra with Its Big/Great/Top Positions including Presidential Position because Ga Adangbe People occupies Accra/The Capital of Ghana.

The answer to your question is simply, YES! It depends upon where you are looking for them and in what capacity.
It's worth mentioning that there are plenty Ga educated leaders in Ghana society now who are innovators and leading figure heads in their chosen careers - not all of them however, are willing to enter into the political arena perceived by some as a'dirty game'.
If your article is centered on Gas in politics and affiliated to the NDC only, then peradventure you have a case.It takes a certain kind of person to go into politics and Nii Lantey Vanderpuije has exhibited all the characteristics and cannot be blamed for some of his excesses. It's therefore not surprising to see him making the ranks in the jungle full of animals devoid of compassion.
Finally, as a GA it pains me to think that he is the best we have in the NDC
as a serious future contender. Can I ask whether successive leaders are chosen purely on ethnicity? God help Ghana!

So, I would not be surprised to see a person of the caliber of Kofi Jumah or Sir John winning a presidential election against Nii Lantey Vanderpuije. The reason why the NDC has been able to win elections is the inclusiveness of all against the NPP's apartheid 'Yen Akanfuo' style. It is very unfortunate for the NPP to use this modus operandus to canvass votes to the detriment of a small nation like Ghana. May be the NPP is copying from the Republican party of the USA which they are now paying dearly for. They have also lost two elections in a row through the works of the Tea/Yen Akanfuo party and I wouldn't be surprised if they lose the next election to Hilary Clinton.

The Dangmes are not Gas and have more numbers and space than the latter. The Dangmes cover areas like Dodowa,through Somanya, Kpong, Akuse, Afienya, Ningo, Ada and Gbugblah(Prampram). The writer couldnt see anybody other than native Gas. Poor job, come again.
