When he self-righteously asserts that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is not a serious political organization, because his peers and associates have unwisely chosen to "scramble" for flagbearership instead, of conducting a thorough post-mortem as to why the NPP lost Election 2012, the Orangeburg, South Carolina, carpetbagger cannot be taken seriously (See "NPP Not A Serious Party...." JoyOnline.com/Ghanaweb.com 9/20/13).
For starters, it is an open-secret that Election 2008 was not actually lost by Nana Akufo-Addo to the late President John Evans Atta-Mills, but rather to a two-term retiring incumbent and his favorite political prize horse(s). This is an incontrovertible truth widely known to most Ghanaians, including the jolly key operatives of the so-called National Democratic Congress (NDC). And then on the issue of the loss of Election 2012, people like Drs. McHypocrite and McNasty cannot exculpate themselves from the forensically sustainable blame of having propagandistically gone to bat for Mr. Mahama and his hardnosed posse of arm-twisting thugs.
You also need to just peruse the effusive pro-Nkrumah encomiums churned out by Dr. McHypocrite to come to the definitive conclusion that the Orangeburg, South Carolina, resident ought to have been expelled from the party eons ago. The fact of the matter is that the NPP is too whorishly liberal and accommodating for its own good. And until the party learns the disciplinary art of careful screening of potential and prospective executive players, it is highly unlikely to go very far in the near and/or distant future.
You see, rascals like Messrs. McHypocrite and McNasty have taken and continue to take undue advantage of the wanton liberalism of NPP poiltical culture to scurrilously promote their own individual interests and agenda rather than those of the greater organizational collective. In the process, they have often ended up gleefully advancing the political fortunes of their supposed party's opponents. In essence, these rascals have a patent agneda that inescapably conflicts with the ideological tenets delineated by Messrs. J. B. Danquah, K. A. Busia, S. D. Dombo and George Alfred "Paa" Grant, among a host of others.
It is also annoyingly disingenuous when Dr. McHypocrite pontifically asserts as follows: "We don't know the mistakes of the last elections, we don't know the mistakes of the party, we don't know who made mistakes, we don't know whether our message was right and [yet] we are going straight for flagbearership! We are not serious."
Well, I have one (Bob) Marleyian riposte for such patent and fetid poppycock; and it is as follows: "In the abundance of water, the fool is [still] thirsty." McHypocrite is a bloody fool, even as strikingly attested by his mumps-afflicted looking face, who ought to humbly appreciate the inescapable fact that he is integral to the very problem that he is so self-righteously bitching about. After all, wasn't he one of the 17 people who contested the flagbearership of the NPP in 2008? Wasn't he also one of the mordant Akufo-Addo critics whose effusive and lurid media detraction may very well have influenced the Supreme Court verdict on Election 2012?
Indeed, it is rather ironic, and paradoxical, for the Simpa-Asebu Idiot to be looking into the mirror constantly and reading only the distorted reflections and images of his political rivals. His shameless trotting out of the myth of the NPP having only won two regions out of ten makes me sick; for as I have emphatically observed in several articles previously, such gratuitous assertion presupposes the abject stupidity and pathological self-alienation of Ghana's ethnic-Akan majority, whose unique ideological machinery is supposed to be the New Patriotic Party.
The fact of the matter is that Dr. Kwadwo Afari-Gyan criminally stole the mandate of the people with the collaborative complicity of Mr. Mahama, and Ghanaians had better come clean and honest about the same. And the Simpa-Asebu "porch-monkey" clearly appreciates this fact, which is why he is able to jauntily assert thusly: "We [the NPP] are the natural governing party of Ghana, but we are working hard to become a minority, and I don't understand why." What nerve!
