  A preacher went to his church office on Monday morning and discovered a dead mule in the church yard.
  
  He called the police. Since there did not appear to be any foul play, the police referred the preacher to the health department. They said since there was no health threat that he should call the sanitation department. The manager said he could not pick up the mule without authorization from the mayor. The preacher was not too eager to call the mayor, who had a bad temper and was generally hard to deal with, but the Preacher called him anyway.
  
  The mayor did not disappoint. He immediately began to rant and rave at the pastor and finally said, “Why did you call me any way? Isn’t it your job to bury the dead?”
  
  The preacher paused for a brief prayer and asked the Lord to direct his response. He was led to say, “Yes, Mayor, it is my job to bury the dead, but I always like to notify the next of kin first!”

  Yes,our own brothers are choking us this time but,please don't try to in any way,shape or form,try to make what these europeans did to Africa sound better.
  Its an insult to all souls who died during this terrible period for black people.Except the uncle toms of course.

  Truth, this writer wants to say one major thing, that today's Christian Leaders are out of touch with the foundational principles in the Jesus the preach about. The article has a paradoxical theme that says the gospel preachers are part of the reasons why some of the congregation are poorer. Just forget about the other analysis.

  Why do you not question the propagation of foreign ideology to our people. Nana Yaa Asantewa did not need liberation theology to take arms against the British. The Christian Church impoverished Latin America as it is impoverishing Africa today. Enlighten yourself by reading Kofi Bempah's "Akan Traditional Religion" available on Amazon.
