  Jeremiah Write, President Obama's former pastor in Chicago brought to the fore liberation theory principle to prime time when he was accused of teaching his congregants including one future president to fight the power. It was big news during 2008 primary and beyond.
  In Ghana, we corrupt everything simply because the majority of us are increasingly becoming morally bankrupt. Simply put, most of our rich men ( MIND YOU NOT WEALTHY MEN) do lack a beautiful mind. They are just rich but not sophisticated in any profound sense.
  Cowards can't bring themselves up to fight the power.
  The golden rule for the Ghanaian cowards is do not bite hand that feeds you.

  Jeremiah Wright was not a true Liberation theologian, in the sense of the Latin American model, of using politics to achieve political power as Bertrand Aristide did in Haiti.

  In Ghana and the rest of Africa, unfortunately, the "men of God" are synonymous with the corrupt ruling elite, synonymous with the indigenous oppressors. They take & take from the indigenous poverty-ridden oppressed people who continue to believe that they are going to heaven, because they are made to believe by their oppressors that "meek shall inherit the earth" one day. Meanwhile, the elite, indigenous oppressors continue to take and take & take. The question is why do the oppressed people allow the corrupt elite to deceive them?
