I don’t care how many university degrees that Busia and Danquah have between them. The truth is: they don’t know politics! Why? They are scared of you as scared of you as the British are …………….. Busia? He is a goat. Let him keep to his sociology! As a politician why? He is not worthy to stoop down and UNTIE MY SHOES TRINGS – Dr. Kwame Nkrumah at one of the massive rallies of the then great CPP at Wenchi, Busia’s home town.
Dr. Busia and J.B. Danquah had opposed the building of the Akosombo Dam. Was the late Dr. Nkrumah right in telling Dr. J.B. Danquah and Busia that they don’t know politics?
Here is the answer: Though Dr. Busia posed as the champion of TRUE DEMOCRACY in his addresses in the second Republic in 1969, he could not avoid his CLASH with the JUDGES in the FAMOUS SALLAH CASE where he accused them of BIAS and PARTIALITY against his government and therefore went to broadcast to the nation on Radio and T.V. and warned the judges thus: ‘’My Government, Professor Busia, the then Prime Minister CHARGED and WARNED will exercise its right to employ ONLY those whom it wishes to employ.
No Court can ENFORCE any decision that seeks to compel the government to EMPLOY OR RE-EMPLOY anyone ….. my government will NOT condone any lowering of standards for maintaining this principle. That was when Dr. Busia’sacked 568 civil and public servants from their jobs just because they were perceived to be CPP supporters – Mr. E.K. Sallah an Ewe and a dismissed Manager of GNTC took the government to court and the court ordered that they must be Re-instated and the above statement was the re-action of Dr. Busia.
Mr. J.A Kufuor was then a deputy minister under the Progress Party government of Dr. Busia and he was closely under studying the undemocratic behavior of Busia. When Kufuor finally became President of Ghana by default in 2001 due to Rawlings long stay in power he also ordered perceived NDC civil and public servants to proceed on leave – Indirect Dismissals never to return and no one coughed in Ghana.
The late Dr. Nkrumah was 100% right in saying that Dr. Busia and J.B Danquah did not know politics – so today’s NPP which represent the Danquah / Busia tradition does not know politics at all.
The NPP is only a Criminal Enterprise and Not a Political Party that believes in Democracy and the Rule of Law – they rather believe in the Rule of man.
Dr. K.A. Busia entered Ghanaian politics in 1958. He led the Ghana Congress Party (GCP), the National Liberation Movement, with ‘’Mate – meho’’ as its local name, the United Party (UP) and also led the pre – independence and post independence Parliamentary opposition until he finally went into self imposed exile in 1959, while in Britain, he started exporting Bombs, grenades and even weapons for the violent overthrow of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah from 1959 – 1966. When Nkrumah was finally overthrown in a violent military coup de’tat backed by the American C.I.A. He campaigned relentlessly against Nkrumah while in exile because Nkrumah did NOTHING IN GHANA as far as Busia was concerned and it has been the character of today’s NPP which represent the Danquah / Busia tradition since 1992 to date 2013.
All members of the Danquah / Busia tradition which the NPP represent today have never supported projects which they thought had the potential of boosting the image of the Nkrumah government, today the NPP is doing just that.
THE NLM.
The main objective of the National Liberation Movement (NLM) was to seek a Federal form of government; its Chairman was Baffour Akoto – the Chief linguist of the Asantehene. Its leadership soon fell into the hands of Mr. R.R. Amponsah, Dr. Busia and Mr. Joe Appiah all of curse memories. The political fortunes on Dr. Busia later came to depend on that murderous tribal grouping called NLM even though Baffour Akoto appeared before the Asante State Council to explain that the NLM was NOT a Political Party but a National Movement with the following aims.
1. To banish lawlessness, intimidation, hooliganism, disregard for age and authority, suppression of individual conscience and all traces of communism. Incidentally, the NPP indulges in all the above acts
2. To establish respect for efficiency, integrity and honest labor
3. To encourage good neighbourliness among the people of the villages, towns and regions, yet the NPP under President Kufuor Presided over a divided nation from 2001 – 2008.
Even though, the NLM was accepted in Akyem Abuakwa, it was purely a Kumasi based violent Ashanti Movement which used the name of the Asantehene, the Golden Stool, Ashanti interests, Ashanti history and Ashanti Rights for gathering support. The NLM leadership portrayed the Independence struggle as a general resentment against the CPP and a people in history were being ‘’smothered’’ by a RIVAL NATIONALIST MOVEMENT whose principal leaders were NON – ASHANTI. Have you now seen where that Criminal Enterprise called NPP derived its TRIBAL POLITICS FROM?
THE BLOOD BATH IN KUMASI AND KYEBI.
The National Liberation Movement (NLM) derived its finances from various sources, the most prominent being the Akyem Abuakwa State Council and Kumasi State Councils.
The Abuakwa State Council ordered the deduction of a month’s pay from the salary of each chief regardless of whether HE AGREES OR NOT to fund the NLM. The Council also purchased large quantities of soda water which when well shaken in a hot climate and thrown into a crowd of CPP supporters at their rallies exploded and inflicted wounds on innocent party supporters from flying glass splinters.
With all these violent activities, the British colonial Governor conducted three land mark general elections in the Gold Coast between the murderous tribal grouping, the National Liberation Movement and the great CPP led by Dr. Kwame Nkrumah in 1951, CPP won, 1954 CPP won and 1956 the CPP again beat the dreaded NLM in a landslide at a time Nkrumah was an enemy to the Governor of the Gold Coast.
The National Liberation Movement (NLM) embarked on ethnic cleansing in Kumasi and Kyebi killing Non – Asantes and even known Asante citizens who were CPP supporters – accusing them of betraying the ‘’Asahnti Nation.
Therefore, thousands of innocent men, women and children were killed by the ‘’Mate – meho’’ thugs with impunity in Kuamsi and Kyebi. Dr. Busia and Baffour Akoto led the killings in Kumasi while Dr. J.B. Danquah led the killings in Kyebi so between 1954 – 1960, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah as Ghana’s first Prime Minister could NOT SET FOOT in Kumasi for security reasons.
Dr. Nkrumah’s residence was bombed as violence became widespread and one of Krobo Edusei’s sisters was shot dead at point blank range in Kumasi, a Fante woman who supported the CPP was stripped naked in Ashanti Newton – a suburb of Kumasi and a long stick was inserted into her vagina by NLM thugs and she bled to death. Just because of her political belief. Oh – yes, that is the NLM / NPP for you. Scores of unsuspecting Northerners who came down south to work on the cocoa farms and the mining companies were caught in the cross fire when the ethnic cleansing was at its peak in Kumasi and Kyebi so they were all WIPED OUT COMPLETELY TOGETHER WITH THEIR WIVES AND CHILDREN WITHOUT MERCY BY NLM CANNIBALS who used their meat to prepare food daily to show their so called bravery in Kumasi and Kyebi.
It had been the habit of the Danquah / Busia tradition to oppose every national project undertaken by the CPP government from 1951 – 1966.
Today, the NPP represent the Danquah / Busia tradition and its politicians are doing exactly the same thing since 1992 to date. Whenever they are not in power, which ever government that is in power must be subverted, undermined, strongly opposed to the extent of always making the country ungovernable and that is the NPP for you.
AFFILIATE BODIES OF THE NPP
Recent happenings in the country in connection with the increase in utility tariffs by the PURC and the quick re-actions from the so called Civil Society Groups and organized labor have raised eye brows as these groups are seen as affiliated bodies of the violent prone NPP as we never heard of them at all throughout the 8 years tenure of Kufuor’s presidency even though he increased petrol prices to 200% in 2001 as well as utility prices at the same percentage that year. Again, he increased petrol prices to 200% and utility tariffs to 200% in 2004 and no one coughed in this country. The NDC did not even increase petrol price to 80% and these affiliated bodies of the NPP are up in arms against the NDC government why is it so? We must all find the answer.
The affiliated bodies of the NPP are –
1. Ghana Ba Association (GBA)
2. Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT)
3. Judicial Service Staff Association of Ghana (JUSSAG)
4. Government Hospital Phamacies Association (GHPA)
5. Ghana Medical Association (GMA) led by the Trades Union Congress
President Kufuor later implemented HIPC on Ghana which was one of the unpopular decisions ever taken by any government and yet no one coughed – not even Ghana’s Clergy or the Smelly Press in Ghana, so who is subverting who in this county? Patriotism, honesty, hard work and dedicated service to the nation has now been thrown to the dogs in this country while Lies. Dishonesty, Deception, Insults, Unpatriotic acts led by the NPP and its affiliate bodies are now the order of the day.
The behavior of the leadership of the above associations led by the T.U.C is too glaring as they have indirectly taken a political stand on behalf of the NPP and this must stop since the NPP is a Criminal Enterprise and not a political party.
