Kotoko is always a bad loser they either take it on the match officials this whole thing is nonsense if Soulama had been spotted with officials of the hosts prior to the game why didn't the coach put him on the bench.

I am a Kotoko fan and I really don't like the way the whole organization, management and supporters are behaving after losing to the Liberia team. We need to go back to the drawing board and find out why we have been doing well in the domestic league recently and performing abysmally at the International level instead of blaming others.
I don't believe for a second that Soulama took any bribe. The way we are behaving will not attract other Players to sign for us if we don't accept defeat gracefully and move on.

If this goal-keeper was spotted with the Liberian officials, was he confronted by the Kotoko officials to decide on whether to field him (Soulama)or not? I remember the Kuuku Dazie, Dan Oppon and Yaw Sam situation when they were accused of accepting bribe from the officials of Accra Hearts Oak when the match was lost. I am a Kotoko fan, but, I am against this accusation. And Kotoko, be reminded that we are not invisible, just we would love to eliminate others, others would also love to eliminate us, period.

kotoko have paid dearly for t heir misdeeds in the past. this player was notorious for assaulting officials. he once assaulted an officila but kotoko covered up by using isaac amoako as number 1 for awhile, whilst soulama went into hiding apparently to get the public to forget about his assault. he later resurfaced in a disguised form by putting his dreadlocks away. the evil that men do lives after them.

The Kotoko officials have followed football for long and can tell when a player is influenced.
Allegation has to be investigated and if true, he has to be sacked from the club
We are all in the hard times together and should come out of it together. Nonsense opinion from the writer

Kotoko what officials have followed the game for too long to know of a bribery scandal. You are very biased and inward looking. Kotoko management knows that the defeat will not sit well with supporters hence they need to make someone a scapegoat and unfortunately it was the goalkeeper the chose. Kwasia s3m, soccer management is no more the fr3 fr3 ko bo hearts and kotoko are portraying, at the same time not paying players. Employees normally do not indulge in fraudulent behavior until they feel disgruntled or there are no controls in place to prevent such behavior.

You call Nana Yaw a tribalist for saying the truth just because you yourself cannot handle the truth. Was it Nana Yaw who named the club Asante Kotoko? How many times the club have changed her name from Mighty Atoms (1924) to Ashanti United (1926) to Asante kotoko (1935)? have you heard a club by the name of Dagomba Tamale United, or Ga Accra Hearts of Oak, or Ga Great Olympics, or Fante Sekondi Hasacass or Fante Eleven Wise, or Ewe Volta United or Ewe Hearts of Lions? What happens when a team was formed in Accra by the name the "Great Ga" the chiefs and people of Accra quickly discourages the use of the name and the club die a natural death. That team was formed by Mr. Oti Ankrah just after the formation of Accra Great Olympics. Go a read the sports newspapers of the early 60's and you find that some of the sportswriter quietly protested the use of the name Asante Kotoko and addresses the club by the name of Kumasi Kotoko in their reportage, what was the uproar that follows? When people say Asante Kotoko, do you think that name is being address to just a football club? It is an Asante war slogan if you don't know! What is the response to that slogan? Please! Go and read the book written by Mr Acheampong on the tribal history of Asante Kotoko. Now let me give you just a small lines from the book. " Ashanti football will not be complete without the name of the late J.K Frimpng who permission the Asantehene to re-organized a team by the name of Mighty Atoms, which was formally called Ashanti United and was later christened to be Asante Kotoko in 1935. Mighty Atoms and Ashanti United had their foundation solidly built by the use of tribal bricks, so therefore when Ashanti United was later baptized into Asante Kotoko, tradition followed, and Kotoko was organized as a Tribal team and her membership was limited to Asantes and Nzimas. These tribal restrictions introduce into Gold Coast soccer by Ashanti United led to the formation of Kumasi Cornerstones in 1931 by the Fantis residents in Kumasi" Get the book from the Kotoko secreteriet and read before you call somebody a tribalist.

It is shameless a great team like Kotoko which have such rich history in Africa in this global sport cannot accept defeat, wht example are you setting for the young teams and players, the coach and management have to shift a blame so they target their goalie to cover their faces, stop this kind of practice in sports and except that the best on that day was BYC, It is called Sport and not war and stop blaming the young man for your poor preparation, finally if i was the goalie i file leave your organization and equally file a defamation charges against the organization b`coz now you make it difficult for other team to trust him if he decides to move on..... shame on you all.... that is my two cents.
