Is this an ethnic psychosis or just plain envy and clinical lunacy? The same man blaming Nana Akufo-Addo for his no-nonsense "All-Die-Be-Die" signal of battle preparedness to the bloody marauders of the National Democratic Congress, has absolutely no problem praising former President Jerry John Rawlings as a "W'agye Wodin," to wit, "One who have earned your fame and reputation." But, somehow, the same Orangeburg, South Carolina, exilic sniper would have Ghanaians believe that the former Justice and Foreign Minister in the Kufuor administration is more dangerous than the man who has summarily executed more Ghanaian citizens than any other premier and/or junta leader since 1957 (See "Akufo-Addo Hasn't Learnt His Lesson...." Citifmonline.com / Ghanaweb.com 3/21/14).
The same Kennedy-Wannabe Afropean malcontent presumes to be possessed of a unique appreciation of what the best interest of the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) is, thus his intemperate and vitriolic sally at Nana Akufo-Addo for daring to democratically declare his intention of running for President on the ticket of the NPP for the third time. Interestingly, we never heard this same critic, not even once, attack the now-late President John Evans Atta-Mills for "unwisely" allowing himself to be foisted on National Democratic Congress supporters and sympathizers for three consecutive presidential elections.
Or does the Orangeburg goon so capriciously suppose that what is good for a Fanteakwa Kofi Atta (or is it a Simpa-Prako?) is not good for Akyemkwaa Kwaku Addo? Come on, lost soul, come off this savagely ethnocentric animosity being cynically packaged and self-righteously paraded as a principled adherence to democratic culture and protocol. Needless to say, I have warned this ambuscading poltroon about the fact that I can see through his interminably infantile wiles like a looking-glass.
What he is doing here is a rudimentary form of nihilistic political jujitsu, whereby the relatively unmatched liberal democratic principles and praxis of the membership of the NPP stalwarts are deviously applied as a self-destructive mechanism, to obliquely further the interests of the cronies and fellow ideological truckers of the critic. I have said it, time and again, that the Orangeburg rooftop sniper does not possess an ounce of the spirit of Messrs. Danquah, Busia and Dombo in him, and may well have been recruited as a mercenary to further the ungodly interests of the Fante-Mafia Wing of the National Democratic Congress. You only have to compare his largely vacuous party-line missives with his epic praise-songs in rapturous celebration of the Show Boy, to get a poignant sense of what I am talking about.
Then also, the seasonal Treasure Hunter crassly accuses all legitimately elected party executives in support of Nana Akufo-Addo of being guilty of political prejudice, as if his rabid antipathy for Nana Akufo-Addo epitomized the golden rule of democratic neutrality. He also, rather presumptuously, claims that "the case for retaining [his arch-nemesis] is a difficult one."
On what basis does this impudent Treasure Hunter predicate his argument? And just who made him the kingmaker of any candidate for any officially designated post within the New Patriotic Party? And also, precisely who and what is preventing him from running against his mortal enemy?
