Heaven and earth shall even pass away how much more mankind. Whoever invented expiration date need my showers of blessing as such has contributed to western circle of development. Nana Addo Danquah has consummated his two terms and has expired in the political arena, let him vanished and pave way for the young and bright ones. Time for the illiterate to adore and also worshiped an individual in Ghana is over.
God being so good our villages are hooked to the internet and they can also dotcom to see what's up.
NPP has a mandated two terms for every candidate, why should they dis their constitution and offer the failure a third term. Supporters of the party will be stooges if they call into power this failure for the third time. Adage" kwasia hwia yen tia so nprenu". But this time you want the stooge balls to be stepped root thrice, how dare you to root for Nana!

All you need to do is to tick them and see them act like childern crying for toys, common sense quickly elludes them all at once as every garbage proceeds out of their mouths. May be its a Kumasi thing.
If the NPP leadership can mature up and handle politics intelligently it may take years for the NDC to taste power.

These "no nana, no vote", "God has designated Nana Addo" effusions will make Nana himself cringe. Nana, does not embrace such "favors", support him if you would, but do not get into the "proverbial gutter" and run down his competitors, it exposes you as a mindless hooligan and I am sure Nana Addo is not interested in such followers. First of all, do you think Ghanaians vote in elections based on issues? And who told you there are any swing or floating voters in Ghana? I thought you were going to educate the writer about how democracy works, but unfortunately you did not. Does democracy mean you need to run someone down with insults? Does democracy mean you have to be mean to someone you do not agree with on issues? If your so-called swing and floating voters continue to elect NDC into power, are you sure the only people that would be disadvantaged is NPP? With the bad governance of John Mahama and his NDC, is it only the NPP that are experiencing dumsor, or shortage of water, or no dollars in their foreign account, or high gas prices, or poor economy? I do not believe anyone is worshiping Nana Addo as you suggested. Majority of the people simply have the trust that he is capable of making a difference in view of his selfless service to the country.

The NDC alone cannot change the Law that is embedded in our Constitution. So, don't let us dump this problem on NDC alone. It cannot help matters.
In fact, the NDC, being the incumbent Party would not find it necessary to prioritize such an important need. So, long as that Party is in Power, it would like to have control on who heads the Local Governments. We could make inroads to see that change by pressuring the Parliament directly. There, even the NDC majority could be broken to accept the real benefits of Decentralization and choosing our Local Government heads by Elections only.
That ammendment to our Constitution is urgently needed.

'? God has designated him to come to liberate His children from the shackles of slavery intentionally wrapped around their necks and legs by the NDC government and party.'
Why do we as Ghanaians use God's name in vain?
Can the authour give me the time and place where GOD met AKUFFO ADDO and designated him as the liberator of Ghanaians from the shackles of the NDC?
It's a given that NDC has been a useless party in government but using God's name to sell someone who is yet to prove himself is an abomination.
I hate partisan politics so I'm not a supporter of any political party because Ghanaian politics is so divisive and selfish. It doesn't matter which party comes into power, Ghana is still going to be the ultimate loser because all politicians are cut from the same cloth and are, therefore, thieves, corrupt, clueless, selfish and vindictive.
If I had my own way, I will only vote for Ghana and not for any political party.
So Mr. Author... watch how you use God's name in vain because the pastors and other so-called "men of God" have been doing that for years and their aim is to con the gullible out of their hard earned money.
Don't use God's name to con the gullible and uneducated Ghanaian electorate.

Calling for a change is not a crime, dirty or uncivil. Now listen, your so called Nana defeated himself because he could not define his own policies. He was not able to tell anybody how he was going to fund his free shs.His incapacity to explain properly exposed him of ignorance. He defeated himself at the Presidential Debate when the question was squarely put to him how he was going to fund his free shs.Nana could only say he was going to use the oil revenue. His own opponent,Mahama even tried to help him by asking him what kind of oil revenue he was talking about.Your master Nana Addo could not utter just a word.Is this the Nana Addo you want? Now listen, the oil revenue has many Funds, levies, taxes, profits and dividends. So if you ask me,Boy Kofi which of the oil revenue I am going to use to fund whatever project.I will call the name of the possible fund which I deem acurate but not swim in pool of generality like Nana Addo did.So you can now see Nana's intellectual deficiency and the risk of making even worse decisions when he becomes the president. He has shown many examples of taking wrong decision, even during the Ivorian crisis.Nana Addo was of the view that President Mills should send troops to go and chase Gbagbo out of power.Do you know what that means?Again at the Presidential Debate,he made a wrong statement by saying Ghana is harbouring rebels who are causing problems in Ivory Coast so we are responsible for the political crisis there.Do you know what this statement means?I am sure NPP has many intelligent guys who can better than Nana Addo. You can praise Nana to any level but for me he is not a presidential material.Thank you.

What a load of tosh! The very act of believing that Nana is God chosen and the only one with sound policies to save your country exposes your abject ignorance. No one has monopoly over knowledge and Nana certainly hasn't. His posturing and pronouncements prove that he is not a nation builder, definitely not the only one with sound policies and absolutely not God-chosen. Any politician with sound policies does not start by dividing their own people even before they attain power. Nana did and continues to do just that with his posturing and speeches. No wonder his own party are up in arms against him!He has served in government before in various roles and there is no particular achievement that sets him apart as the best or only person with sound policies. Indeed his ministerial roles are marred with a plethora of hiccups and misdeeds and nothing to write home about. So I'm afraid elevating him to the status of a demigod will do nothing to change the perception Ghanaians have of him. No well-meaning citizen of any country, however sound their policies may be, will hold his self interests above that of the nation and hold an entire country to ransom for 8 good months with a needless election petition. So I am sorry Mr Adofo but I don't buy into your skewed arguments and I'm sure the vast majority of Ghanaians and indeed members of your party don't either. If you think arrogance and self-aggrandisements translate into popularity and votes go and ask "Sir" John. Ghanaians are smarter than you think.

I still dont understand why ghanians are still looking forward for a saviour of the economy in the person of Akuffo Addo. As the foreign Affairs minister, Akuffo Addo did little or nothing to promote the effectiveness and efficiency of various Ghana embassies at large. Check with the websites of Ghana embassies abroad and read well how shameful your so called politicians are handling the business of Ghana abroad. Kumasi-Accra road that began in the year 2000 is still under contruction which is not even half way completed. The N.P.P government sold the nation's only telecommunication agency for $900 million with a gross profit of $500 million after debts and expenses were paid yet still kumasi-Accra road still remains not completed. Where did this huge sum of money go? I have not seen any project completed as at yet. Over 50 years of independence, Ghana still rely on one (1) international airport. Is this not shameful?Ghanians please begin thinking critically and stop living in a fools paradise. Voters should have a mentality of making sure that politicians perform to the development of the country. Give a different party a chance for four years to change Ghana for the betterness of her people. It is better to try the competence of other folks (parties) than to vote N.P.P & N.D.C into power every 4-8 years for the same or worse failure. "WAKE UP GHANIANS"

Akuffo Addo is not coming to wave the magic wand for all our troubles to go away. He's an African politician and a Ghanaian politician, for that matter. All Ghanaian politicians are cut from the same cloth. They are corrupt, thieves, clueless, selfish, vindictive and on top of all, CLOWNS.
Everything or any decision they make is always along political lines.
Both the governing and opposition parties don't have the welfare of Ghana at heart. All they care about is what they will gain as individual politicians. Stealing anything and everything they can lay their thieving hands on.
Look at our failed educational system cranking out illiterate graduates.
Look at our security/judiciary system - a total failure leaving crooks and criminals on the street and jailing the poor and innocent.
Our health care system is in the doldrums.
That's just the few I'll mention but there's a ton of them.
So if Ghanaians are not going to wake up but bury their heads in the sand like nothing is happening, then we really deserve what is being dished out to us by these crooked politicians be it NDC or NPP.
We are a failed state!!!!
Ghanaians worship political individuals who have done nothing to prove their worth.
