See Thursday 16 september 2014,ghanaweb publication. The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) 2012 presidential candidate, Nana Akufo-Addo has declared zero tolerance for cheating during the next general elections.
He said the Electoral Commission (EC) “will find it tough manipulating results” to favour a particular party in 2016. For some of us, it is mind-boggling to question why this statement at this time, especially, having won elections on three occasions as a Member of Parliament. It is against this background that I have prepared the following questions for him, and it is my hope that, he and those who believe in him would have time to provide the right answers before going into the 2016 election either than that,they should shut up. As for winning the internal contest,is a done deal for him and his lovers.
1. How many votes were 'stolen' from Akufo-Addo's accumulated votes and added unto the votes of John Mahama in 2012?
2. How many votes did Nana Akufo-Addo get from each of the 26,002 polling stations as recorded by the NPP party agents?
3. How many votes did Akufo-Addo get from all the 275 Constituencies in Ghana as recorded by the NPP's Constituency Secretaries and Research Officers?
4. How many votes did Akufo-Addo get from each of he 10 Regions in Ghana as recorded by all the 10 NPP Regional Chairmen, and Research Officers?
5. What was the overall votes of Akufo-Addo as recorded by the NPP's General Secretary, Research Officer, and Director of Elections in Accra?
6. Did the NPP collect all the Pink Sheets from all the 26,002 polling stations? If yes, what was the total number of votes recorded for Akufo-Addo by the NPP Polling Agents?
7. Why didn't Akufo-Addo present all the 26,002 pink sheets to court and ask the court for a re-count?
8. Why did Akufo-Addo contest the 2012 elections not on the basis that his votes have been stolen but rather, he wanted the SC to annul votes because of technicalities such as NO Verification, No Vote, unsigned pink sheets, and over-voting in selected polling stations?
9. The NPP leadership budget $2m for the distribution of special mobile phones to text electoral results to the party headquarters. How many votes were recorded from those mobile phones?
10. The Chairman of Electoral Commission declared that, Nana Akufo-Addo had a little over 5.2m valid votes, whilst John Mahama had a little over 5.5m valid votes. The NPP was supposed to get the electoral results from its party agents several hours before the EC could collate the results due to technology. Did this happen?
11. Why has the NPP failed to tell Ghanaians that Nana Addo's 5.2m votes as given by Afari Gyan was wrong, because per their own collation of figures, Nana Addo gained more than that?
12. Did Dr. Afari Gyan also steal the 2012 elections for all the NDC Parliamentary Candidates? If yes, what about the 123 NPP Parliamentary Candidates who won their seats?
13. The NPP announced that it would challenge 38 Parliamentary Seats right after the declaration of the results? Why did the Jake-led team abandon the case midstream?
14. The total votes of Akufo-Addo (5.24m) and the total votes of all NPP Parliamentary Candidates showed a difference of only 26. In other words, Akufo-Addo's overall votes was 26 higher than the accumulated votes of the NPP's Parliamentary Aspirants. What then shows that Akufo-Addo's votes were stolen?
15. The NPP has won national elections on two occasions. Did the EC also steal for the NPP?
16. The NPP was in opposition in 2000, but managed to win power. Did the EC steal for Kufuor?
17. The NPP was in power in 2008. Did the EC cheat Akufo-Addo?
18. If Akufo-Addo claims the 2012 elections were stolen, what about the 2008 first round when he was leading, and 2008 run-off, where he lost? Was the 2008 elections also stolen fro Mills?
19. Akufo-Addo has won three (3) elections as an MP, and two (2) elections as the flag-bearer of the NPP. All the elections were conducted by the EC led by Afari Gyan? Could we also say that those elections were stolen for Akufo-Addo?
20. When Akufo-Addo was declared winner in those elections, did he win them at the Supreme Court?
21. After leading the NPP for over 6 years, why is Akufo-Addo now telling us that elections are won at the Polling Stations?
22. Is Akufo-Addo so weak that, he would sit down for him to be cheated in elections? If so, why did he declare "All die be die"?
23. Who was in charge of monitoring the electoral results from the Polling Stations to the EC's strong room?
What I want Nana Addo and his supporters to know is that,they are a subset of Ghana and loving and believe in Nana Addo does not make him a president. As l kept saying,with Nana Addo as flag bearer,ndc will always beat npp.
