  The article is well written and based on facts. Gone were the days that they said the teacher's reward is in heaven. They should be given their rewards now because we don't know how many of them will get to heaven. In this 21st century, it's pathetic that students still go to school under trees and use "atomko" washroom. Why can' t GES organize professional development for the pupil teachers? The bottom line is the politicians children are in well established private schools in Ghana and abroad so they don't care about the rice / kenkey seller kids.

  That is not all, a post graduate certificate is not recognised by GES. It does not attract any incentive for the hard-working teacher who after paying soo much to improve on his/ her capacity is forced to leave because your certificate do not attract anything. I challenge the GES to disprove this allegations.

THE SAD STORY FROM THE PRESTEA HUNI-VALLEY EDUCATIONAL DIRECTORATE IS WHEN I WENT THERE JUST TO HEAR THAT MAHAMA HAS IMPOSED AN INDEFINITE BAN ON THE TEACHER RECRUITMENT. IN FACT FOR ME I KNOW REMOVING NDC WILL BE THE GHANA SECOND INDEPENDENT DAY! what a hell!!
