It's becoming a bit despicable how some members of the Ghanaian society have made it their habit to take advantage of just anything in a bid to run down the presidency.
The latest news trending is the supposed "stow way" of the communications director and presidential advisor, Ben Dotsei Malor, due to "in-fighting at the seat of government" as reported in the media.
The presidency always informed the public anytime there was an appointment or otherwise, thus a bit infantile on the part of those who are "speeding' with the untruth that there was disunity at the flagstaff house, thus both the executive secretary Raymond Atuguba and Ben Dotsei Malor had all left the president "in the cold."
Speaking to my close source at the flagstaff house, I got the indication that the duo are actively at post and it is not true the speculations making rounds that the two, Ben and Ray, had left their jobs at the presidency.
"Look, the president is a decisive leader who believes in his team. We likewise have full confidence in the president and working assiduously to deliver on our campaign promise to make Ghana a better place for all," FSH source.
The last time, it was a "clash between the Vice President and the President," at a cabinet meeting. Perhaps like the biblical saying, "many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the love delivered him from it all," is the fate President John Dramani Mahama is facing now.
Inasmuch as the president is taking the negative criticisms in his stride, there was the need for the opposition and all those pessimists to cross-check their stories before going to press.
"The presidency is strong and working to solve the problems confronting the nation, especially the 'Dumsor Dumsor'; let them do their worst, government would do its best to deliver basic necessities to the people.
I urge the public to treat all those stories with the contempt it deserves, and channel your energies towards supporting the government to deliver on its better Ghana Agenda," the source said.
