Open Letter to Kumawuhene Barimah Sarfo Tweneboah Koduah

Tue, 17 Mar 2015 Source: Adofo, Rockson

Your Majesty the King,

Please, hear the earnest words of admonition to you by one of your Kumawuman compatriots. I am obliged by the love and concern I have for the citizens, and for the locality, of Kumawuman, to publish this open letter to you on this Sunday of 15 March 2015. You are going to be told nothing, but the gospel truth. It indeed hurts to tell the truth, or be confronted with the truth, but in the end, it brings a lasting comfort. Knowing the truth will certainly assuage your fears about whether or not Kumawuman citizens have accepted, or will accept, you, as their paramount chief (Omanhene).

You are from the Kumawu Ankaase "royal" family according as revealed by my empirical evidence emanating from my practical insightful knowledge about the family, and my in-depth historical research conducted into your background. However, let it be known to you today, that the members of the Kumawu Ankaase "royal" family in which you belong, are neither of matrilineal nor patrilineal lineage to Barimah Tweneboah Koduah I, the originator of the Kumawu Koduah Stool. The assertion by Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II that the Ankaase family members are true descendants of Barimah Tweneboah Koduah I, as could be ascertained from a video posted on YouTube titled, "Asantehene involves in corruption", is completely false. He was simply being deceitful.

From what you have come to observe practically, since your illegal enstoolment as Kumawuhene, the people of Kumawuman by their overwhelming majority have come to reject you as their Omanhene. Their rejection of your traditional leadership is based on a number of factors.

The memory of the most deplorable, ruinous and wicked rule, leading on to the alleged stealthy spiritual extermination of some notable Kumawuman citizens by your uncle or family member, the late Barimah Asumadu Sakyi II, is still fresh in their minds. They do not want any member of that family to ascend to the throne any sooner to repeat the same evils and corrupt practices that became the pivots on which his rule revolved. It hurts to open up healed warts.

They would not like anyone of the factual description, and nature, of, "3bo3 fa, dadee fa" to sit on the Kumawu Koduah Stool. It is anathema to Kumawuman to allow such a person to ascend to the throne. However, you are a known "3bo3 fa, dadee fa" to many a Kumawuman citizen, including even members of your own Ankaase "royal" family, especially, your adored current spokesperson.

You are seen by many as simply a puppet through whom Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II will exploit the wealth of Kumawuman for his selfish and insatiably greedy quest. You will allow him unfettered access to the Kumawuman stool lands as well as any little money sitting in the Kumawman bank accounts with the Bank of Ghana. The fact of you being a puppet is proven by the contents of the letter that the Kumawuman Traditional Council sent to the Ashanti Regional Police Commander Nathan Kofi Boakye on 2 December 2014, at your behest, titled, "FORMAL COMPLAINT".

I published a true form copy of the letter on Modernghana.com and Spyghana under the title, "Kumawuhene" Sends a Manipulative Letter to Police Commander Kofi Boakye - Read It". The following web link will take you to the mentioned publication.

You are again someone who does not know the history of Kumawuman hence gleefully submissively allowing Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II to needlessly meddle in the affairs of Kumawuman. No Asantehene, since the days of Nana Osei Tutu I through to Otumfuo Opoku Ware II, had or has been mandated to collusively impose a person of their choice on Kumawuman as her Omanhene. Why should you collude with Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and Asanteman Council to try to change the history of Kumawu all for bad, myopic and selfish reasons?

Going forward, your election as the Kumawuhene-elect by Asantehene and Asanteman Council on 24th February 2014, followed up by its doubtful confirmation by Kumawu kingmakers on Thursday 30 October 2014 was absolutely illegal and untraditional.

Firstly, Asantehene and Asanteman Council have no traditional right to elect anyone as Kumawu Omanhene for Kumawuman. It is not, and it has never been, and it will never be, their prerogative. Nonetheless, they forced you on Kumawuman as seen in the mentioned video. The further confirmation of your election by only the Kumawu Nifahene who doubles as the chief of Kumawu-Bodomase makes your rulership of Kumawuman more illegal, if not laughable. Without the presence of Kumawu Kontrihene and Akwamuhene at your swearing in ceremony at Kumawu, you can NEVER become a genuine or acceptable Kumawumanhene, but an illegal one limping on one leg.

Secondly, acts of bribery, corruption and extortion took place either at your instigations or on your behalf by Kumawuhemaa before you were selected or elected, dubiously as it may be, as the Kumawuhene. However, such initiatives are frowned upon or proscribed by the conventional and constitutional laws of Ghana. This is vividly stated in Article 13 of the Warrington Notes under Stool Disputes. It says, "The offering and taking of bribes to influence an election by candidates, elders and young men was declared in 1941 to be illegal. If a candidate does so he loses his right to election on that occasion (only); and if a stool holder does so it is a ground for destoolment. The nomination, installation or election of a person not entitled to the stool is also a ground for destooling the person who does any of these acts".

From Dr Kofi Abrefa Busia's book, "THE POSITION OF CHIEF IN THE MODERN POLITICAL SYSTEM OF ASHANTI", published in 1951, you can ascertain for yourself when reading pages 210 to 212 that the circumstances leading on to your election render your title as Kumawuhene illegal. This view of your ineligibility is strengthened by the ACTS OF GHANA: Criminal Code, 1960 (Act 29) – THE CRIMINAL CODE (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2003 (ACT 646).

You can refer to the following web link for the full details of how the laws explicitly annul your election as Kumawuhene.

Finally, Oh Your Majesty the temporary King, be aware of the fact that the wrath of God is looming on all those colluding to obstruct the materialisation of His plans and purpose for Kumawuman. God has in his infinite wisdom appointed His servant Barimah Tweneboah Koduah V from the Ananangya royal family to ascend to the Kumawu Koduah Stool as Kumawu Omanhene. He wants him to liberate Kumawuman and her citizens from the curse, slavery and hardships brought to bear upon them by Kumawuhemaa Abenaa Serwaah Amponsah and her accomplices.

You, Kumawuhemaa, Asantehene, Asanteman Council and DCOP Nathan Kofi Boakye are working around the clock, maliciously of course, to thwart God's plans as aforesaid from coming into fruition. For your actions, you risk suffering the fiery anger of God. You had better refrain from your evil deeds toward Barimah Tweneboah Koduah V and his supporters who are in their 95% majority of Kumawuman citizens. You will never succeed in your diabolical ploys to suppress them using the police and juju.

The wrath of God will come upon all those trying to prevent his purpose for Kumawuman, and especially, for Barimah Tweneboah Koduah V, from coming to pass. It may come upon them in diverse ways, by death, sickness, lost of job, unbearable socio-economic hardship etc.

As I write, your mother, Kumawuhemaa Abenaa Serwaah Amponsah, is seriously ill. I am fully aware of how she disguises herself when visiting some fetish shrines in search of spiritual healing. She can continue to travel in different taxis, who cares. Would she be in this situation if she had been doing the right things? Is it shameful to fall ill? NO! Why then is she hiding her sickness away from people? The evil that men do lives after them.

Is it worthy of you, Oh Your Majesty the temporary King, to surrender your soul, body and spirit to that young Kumawu Zongo boy, your adored spiritual father or juju man? This young man or boy commands you on when to sleep, when to come out from your inner room, when to travel or not to travel, which car to travel in, which room to sleep in, which clothes to wear, what food to eat etc. He is the first person to taste every meal served you before you eat them. Is this how far that your quest for power will take you, making you a fool in the eyes of a young juju man, a pretender of course?

For your information, he has confided in some people that he has come to the realisation that all the juju he is doing for you will never work, but he will continue to deceive you because he wants part of your money, and also, to be able to blackmail you in future when you decide to cast him out of your life.

My final advice to you is to go back to your medical practice where you have excelled, chalking praiseworthy successes. My own aunt talks about how best you provided her medical care when she once visited your hospital at Jachie-Pramso in the Ashanti region, when she was taken seriously ill.

I am persuaded by the volume of the truthful information hereby provided; you will make an informed decision from the advice. The final decision is yours to make anyway, but the judgment is God's.

Yours Sincerely,

Rockson Adofo
