  The government has stated over and over again the problem. How did the problem come about
  1.The WAPCo pipe line got raptured. All units on gas especially Asogli were rendered unavailable. This continued for 1 year. 2013-2014 ...

  The government has stated over and over again the problem. How did the problem come about
  1.The WAPCo pipe line got raptured. All units on gas especially Asogli were rendered unavailable. This continued for 1 year. 2013-2014.
  2. Generation was taken over by Akosombo, note Bui was under construction so the government cannot start the construction of new plant.
  Akosombo run 6 units continuously for 1 year and unfortunately there was no rain in 2014 at the catchment area.
  3. Bui was completed and that also faced the same water issue and the fact that bui is a peaking plant not base load.
  Way forward-More thermal plants to regulate the use of water.
  Atoabo is now available with gas to accomondate new thermal plants.
  Ghana will rise again.
