WE SAY: Now, that is a good observation, we must grant.
ITEM: As we speak, President Mahama is in the UK. He is the "Honorary Keynote Address" at a so-called "Oxford Africa Conference 2015". He is pitching Ghana/Africa to "entrepreneurs", we guess, who will attend a "...'Gala Dinner' that will cost £55(GH¢346) for a student, and £80(GH¢504), for a non-student.
But none of the delegates or the speakers, none of the attendees to the conference will not get to hear from:
-- International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI)
-- Open Government Partnership (OGP)
-- Transparency International (TI)
-- Investigative Reporting Project Italy (IRPI)
-- National Endowment for Democracy (NED)
-- Global Integrity (GI)
-- Open Society Foundations (Soros.org)
--Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR)
-- European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights (ECCHR)
-- Ushahidi (Tools for Changing the World)
-- Wiki Leak, etc.
(Read all about it in our up-coming essay on Ghanaweb)!

Thanks for reminding me of this article once again. Our African leaders are a disgrace to our great freedom fighters like Kwame Nkrumah, Patrice Lumumba, Nelson Mandela, Steve Bicco, Only to mention few. Do you believe that the above mentioned persons will allow the West with it allies to come and kill Gaddafi on the African soil? But let me remind you that Africa; we are the cause of our own woes! If you could analyse things intellectually you would say that the woes of Africa began when the great liberator of Africa (Nkrumah) was overthrown. Blakk Rasta the reggae artist and host of the taxi driver show on hitz fm played PO LUMUMBA'S tape. I strongly believe that Africa can change only when Ghana changes.
Not trying to play politics here but this change could come by only when we ghanaians have a Change of mindset and vote for the CPP.
