The Flagbearer, Nana Akufo-Addo and his Running Mate Dr Bawumia and other National Executives are embarking on nationwide tour - Arise and Build.
At this same moment, the party's General Secretary Kwabena Agyapong is in Texas-USA for no apparent reason known to the party.
If we can recall, during the vigorous campaign at Talensi by-election recently, this same GS Agyapong was nowhere to be found in Ghana. Frankly speaking, Kwabena was gallivanting from UK to Berlin - Germany, yet for no apparent reason, till the end of the by-election in Talensi.
At the same time when the GS was roaming in Europe, the National Chairman, Afoko was also busy at the Flagstaff House, helping Prez John Maham to organise a national best awards to Dr. Afari Gyan, former EC boss and the incoming boss, Mrs Charlotte Osei.
Again, when an Emergency meeting was called to plan for the vetting of the parliamentary candidates before the primaries, Mr Agyapong was again in Kumasi saying to the whole world that he was eating Mankeni Fufuo and Abunabunu. Whilst at the same period, the National Chairman Paul Afoko was said to have decamped from Ghana to UK. Any tangible reason for his quick vamoose from Ghana to UK at that crucial moment is perhaps yet to be ascertained.
Today, as the GS is cooling off in Texas US, the Chairman, Afoko is also busy creating more confusion in the party in Ghana and seeking to get police to arrest some of his own colleague executives based on allegation he has peddled about some financial malfeasance, indeed a non-existing issue; neglecting the mandate given to him as the National Chairman to steer the affairs of the party internally with the recourse to the party's internal mechanisms.
Is the chairman not being mischievous or demonstrating incompetency at his job?
With all these happenings in the party, obviously cannot be seen as just a sheer coincidence, but a calculated scheme to cause more havoc in the party, and obviously, targeting to thwart the chances of the Flagbearer Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo for the 2016 elections?
Something MUST definitely be done about this as quickly as possible.
Members, supporters and admirers are getting seriously frustrated, disheartened and discouraged.
