Thanks to Akufo Addo’s sterling qualities ....

....sanity will return to the New Patriotic Party.

Let me exploit my “office” as the Self Appointed Special Aide to Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, the decisive President –in-Waiting to give a fitting response to the nebulous and cacophonic voices emanating from the stables of the corrupt infested Nefarious Destructive Cancer.

Presidential Staffer, AlhajI Halidu Haruna’s call for Nana to seek advice from Former President Kufuor is laughable. In the first place what advice did he, Halidu give to the NDC apparatchiks when they hounded Kufuor out of the building he had wanted to use as his office?

If Halidu Haruna has any advice to give he should rather give it to Current President and “Commander-in-Thief”, John Dramani Mahama from deviating from his Predecessor’s chosen path of righteousness when he denounced homosexuality in the country. Today, President John Mahama has turned to other lesser gods by legalizing gay rights with the appointment of an advocate of gay rights into his cabinet. The President of Gay Right and activist worldwide was the Guest of Honour during the launching of the President book “My First Coup d’état”. The former made quite a substantial donation at the launching.

If Halidu Haruna could be honest to himself he would be the first to admit that he was one of the harbingers of those who hurled personal attacks and insults on the former president almost on daily basis. He never saw nor said any good thing about Kufuor’s Government nor the NPP when Kufuor was President.

Therefore if today, Allah has opened the eyes of one Kufuor’s antagonists and he Halidu could recall the competence level of Kufuor, I forgive him deeply from my heart. All the venom that filled my being has dissipated. I am also grateful to him for telling the story the way it should be told.

The next attack came from the failed parliamentary aspirant on the ticket of NDC, Abraham Amaliba who alleged that Nana is not a unifier but a very divisive person who cannot hold his people together. He made such ridiculous and quixotic submission on Star 103Fm. He concluded by saying that “Nana failure to unite the opposition NPP is a clear indication that Ghana cannot be entrusted into his care”

What a weird submission!

Quixotic as the submission was, I would want him to look Ghanaians right in the eye and tell us how late President Mills died. There are many questions than answers. What will make the former National Organizer of the Party, Yaw Barfuor Gyan say that he would reveal the whole truth about the death of President Atta Mills? What would make every known member of the NDC stand against the conduct of autopsy on the body of the late President? Was this not confusion galore?

If the failed parliamentary aspirant has forgotten, I would refer him to events that happened during the FONCKAR Games. How did they treat former President Rawlings and his wife Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings? They were smuggled into the venue of the Congress in Sunyani to avoid being given any recognition. Has the party forgotten so soon how former Chairman Obed Asamoah and the former Women’s Organizer, Frances Essiam were treated during its congress in Koforidua? There was palpable fear around the venue of the Congress so much so that Obed Asamoah could not attend to nature’s call when he felt the need to do so.

Have they so soon forgotten the acts and antics of the foot soldiers who took over the NDC’ Headquarters? The party’s then National Organizer said it loud and clear that he would have marched the foot soldiers to take over the Castle if Carl Wilson was not sacked. Three NDC supporters lynched an NPP sympathizer right in front of the Police Station at Agbogbloshie. When the NPP protested, the Police “arrested” the party leaders to make a statement. Till date, Mahama’s Government has not deemed it expedient to interrogate the suspect and the detractors of democracy talk of lack of unity I the party. Human life is sacrosanct everywhere. The powers that be must note that.

Amaliba talks of vindictiveness on the part of Nana Akufo Addo. But I ask: between Nana AND President Mahama, who is more vindictive? What was on the mind of the President, when he declared Kibi hometown of the Flag bearer of NPP as operational headquarters of Galamsey activities in the country.

The truth of the matter is that it was the NDC 2012 Parliamentary Candidate who was engaged in illegal mining activities right inside Abuakwa State College land. This fact is well documented. The Police, the MCE and the Presidency are all aware of this development. The NDC Parliamentary Candidate in the 2012 parliamentary elections is also a teacher at Abuakwa State College, the school whose land he had appropriated to himself. This has made it extremely difficult for the Headmaster to take action against him.

NDC as a political party should rather caution President Mahama to seek advice from ex-president Kufuor on how not to make” unpresidential” utterances and statements. What names did the greedy bastards and babies with sharp teeth not call their Founder and ex-president Rawlins for criticizing late President Mills? Did the Presidency not ground the plane that was to take ex-president Rawlings to witness the inaugural ceremony of former President Jonathan Ebele Goodluck at the tarmac? You see how vindictive both Mills and Mahama could be!

What is wrong if we suspend our National Chairman for anti-party activities? The NDC is peeved because we have seen through the deeds of the deposed, disgraced and disgruntled Chairman, Paul Afoko. He was doing the bidding for them and with him out, the Nefarious Destructive Cancer is counting its losses.

I am surprised that Kofi Adams, National Organizer has now got back his tongue and voice to comment on the goings on in the New Patriotic Party. During the FONKAR Games, did the party not declare him a saboteur? What was his punishment? Suspended from his position as Deputy General Secretary! And the heavens did not fall? What is different here, if today we have suspended elected officials of the party? When he, Kofi Adams was suspended, was the matter referred to the entire congress which elected him? No! And so, why is the NDC shouting itself hoarse for?

Even here, there is a very great difference. In the case of the NPP, all the accused persons were given the opportunity to be heard. The suspended National Chairman was thrice given opportunity to clear himself of the charges against him, but thrice his stubbornness would not make him submit himself to the dictates of the party. The Party General Secretary availed himself of the opportunity to answer the charges against him. He went to the extent of even pleading for forgiveness but the die was already cast. He had to go.

Compare the above scenario with that of Kofi Adams. It was Kofi himself who told the whole world that he was not given a hearing before his suspension. According to him, he was told to wait outside the venue of the Disciplinary Committee’s hearing. After their deliberations, a letter of suspension was handed over to him.

I now touch on the effusions emanating from the uncouth mouth of a ranting ant called Kwadwo Twum Boafo. He alleges that Nana Addo is now a tyrannical opposition leader who is on a mission to eliminate persons who do not side with him in his party. “It is the first time in the history of this country that we have an opposition leader who is a tyrannical leader who is mainly responsible for killing people when they are opposed to him”, he continues.

Why have the Police not invited him for questioning on account of such vexatious and frivolous allegations? He should have had an encounter with the law enforcing agency if our Police were to be a professional one?

When one talks of tyranny, I dare challenge Kwadwo Twum Boafo to tell us who has exhibited such traits more than he himself who is making the accusations? Is it a question of the pot calling the kettle black?

If readers do not know or have forgotten let me refresh their minds on Kwadwo Twum Boafo’s antecedents. It has been said that he Kwadwo Twum Boafo tasted the forbidden fruit of his youthful step mother. Probably the step mother gave in to his amorous advances probably because the old man’s pestle has become weak and could not function properly and the step son I the prime of her life felt the need of having a turgid instrument to pound and tantalize her “orifice”. When the old man complained of such sacrilege, it is alleged the “prodigal uncircumcised baboon” brought out a gun and threatened to shoot the father. What is more tyrannical than that?

By committing such a hideous sacrilege against God and mankind, the name Kwadwo Twum Boafo should have been engraved in the ocean of forgetfulness. But this is Mills/Mahama Ghana, where mediocrity reigns supreme. Kwadwo Twum Boafo has been given a plush portfolio as CEO of Ghana Free Zones Board.

Let me reiterate here for the avoidance of that that the supposed violence in the NPP does not emanate from Nana’s support base. Rather it is sponsored by the NDC which sees a united NPP as a danger to its cringing on to power. Unfortunately, some top elements in the leadership position sold their conscience to the devil and allowed themselves to be used to destabilize the party.

Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo won over 94% of votes cast by delegates at the party’s congress to elect its flag bearer. This core 94% plus is committed to the ideals of the Danquah-Busia-Dombo tradition as symbolized with the emergence of Nana as the party flag-bearer. We love and cherish him for what he stands for. We are ready to die with him in defence of our hard won democracy. The less than 6 percent members are those who are engaged in violence, which from all indications is fanned on by the Presidency and the Nefarious Destructive Cancer.

We respect Nana as our Presidential Candidate and Decisive President-in-Waiting. Common sense dictates that the less than 6% unruly “party members” who are clandestinely goaded on by the NDC through financial inducement will do everything to rock the boat. Under such circumstances, what can any person in Nana’s shoes do? Those so called recalcitrant party men are even calling for the removal of Nana as our flag bearer. Such people cannot be won over even with bread and butter. But now that their backers are outside leadership positions, sanity will now prevail in the party.

You see, the Nefarious Destructive Cancer has been vociferous in condemning the NPP for suspending both our Chairman and the General Secretary because of what they stand to gain should the two remain entrenched in their respective positions. What happened to the “Dzi Wo Fie Asem” mantra of late President Mills?

How did the NDC treat the man who had wanted to contest President John Mahama for the party’s flag-bearer ship? They concocted stories against the aspirant and declared that he was mentally unsound. Who conducted a medical test on him in order to arrive at the conclusion that he was insane?

Have we forgotten the bully of an “Hon” NDC MP who slapped Sampson Ahi, his fellow MP on the same side right inside the chambers of Parliament? And yet some of these sons and daughters of uncircumcised baboons have the mouth to talk of violence in the NPP.

Come to think of it. There is a saying that “show me your friend and I will show you your character” When Barfour Gyan, Asamoah Djan’s Senior Brother assaulted a journalist who had asked the Black Stars Captain a probing question during a Press Conference on the death of Castro, did we all not say the Senior Brother had done so at the biddings of the Captain of the Black Stars.

Therefore, if Adams Mahama, Upper East Regional Chairman of the NPP is killed a few days after he had denounced his national chairman going to his “domain” without inform him, and the Chairman’s brother is implicated in the murder, does it not follow (according to NDC’s criterion) that the brother had done the bidding of his senior brother?

With the overwhelming and unanimous endorsement of the indefinite suspense clamped on the National Chairman and the Party General Secretary by NEC, the party is bound to move to top gear. Irresponsible national officers of our Great Party who for pittance are skewed in political vituperations and are in cohort with our political detractors will not be allowed to turn democracy into something else.

This much we pledge!
