Shame Felix Kwakye, NADAA spoke the truth - John Mahama's Confused

It makes me sick to the stomach to hear falsehood being peddled by Felix Ofosu Kwakye and his group of pathological progenitors of diabolical untruths.

It is comfortable to say that they are professional bamboozlers of society. The sad thing is that these same people have immediate and extended families who are suffering the pain of the apology that John Mahama and his government have become. But, again, do they care? Of course not!

In fact, governance in Ghana under the NDC has been thrown to the dogs. The few bandits in government, like Felix Ofosu Kwakye, are involved in vile propaganda that smacks of a demeanour alien to our culture and traditions.

And as if they have run out of ideas, the NDC hired a Nigerian media thug, Dele Momodu, CEO of Ovation, to assist in the dirty propaganda against Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo. Unfortunately he is promoting the hypothetical, non-existent projects that are mere dreams under the presidency of John Mahama, and getting paid for it with the nation's money.

Well Nana Akufo-Addo stated that John Mahama and his NDC government are confused. But that is very true! Seth Terkper, the Minister of Finance, announced that pensions and allowances were going to be taxed. The president, John Mahama, popped up from nowhere and denied that the taxes were being prepared for implementation.

So who is telling lies, Seth Terkper or John Mahama? The unfortunate truth is that both men are known for their wild untruths, especially John Mahama,, whose fallible assertions have, since his assumption of Power, shaken the tranquility of the Nation's livelihood.

Everything has been taxed. The tax component in the price of fuel constitutes over 80%. Bank transactions are taxed. Withholding tax is up from 5% to 15%.

Electricity is so absurdly overpriced due to over taxation that it is doubly more expensive than rent. Under the NDC, if the need arises, even the air that we breathe will be taxed. This is wickedness untold!

Incontrovertibly, Ghana recently went down in the Guinness Book of Records as having the fastest collapsing business in the world - The Komenda sugar factory. This factory was commissioned and shut down barely 48 hours later. To cover up the shame, the government argued that this measure had to be taken for maintenance. I have the urge to say that this is the "stupidest" show of arrogance Ghanaians have had to suffer. It is clear that the factory was incomplete and that John Mahama rushed to do propaganda with it. Shame! Like I mentioned in my earlier article, "I Told You So...", the egregious Komenda scandal brings to mind the ignominy of the rushed Bui Dam. No sooner did John Mahama push the button to commission it than the electricity went off, phweeep, quite reminiscent of the raid advert, "ready, steady....dead!"

Soon, it was discovered that the John Mahama-led NDC government took a 35 million dollar loan from India only to turn around and give it to an Indian company to revamp and run the Komenda sugar factory on behalf of Ghana.

Does that make sense? Borrow money to give it back to the lender while the nation is saddled with yet another huge interest to pay, which would have been serviced from the proceeds of a revived sugar factory. That is, also, very similar to the 250 million of the one billion dollar Eurobond money that was deposited in a UBA account against a loan from that same bank at a high interest rate. Interest here, interest there, interest, interest everywhere.

At this juncture, let me remind John Mahama and the NDC that Komenda gave up the ghost under the watch of Papa J (H.E. Jerry John Rawlings), whose oligarchic rule that spanned two decades was riddled with wrongful, ineffective governance and destructive despotism. During the successful days of the NPP governments under the Presidency of H.E. John Agyekum Kufuor, he sought to fix the problems inherited from the NDC in order of priority.

Komenda was on his agenda, but soon his 8 years were up. Then it took the subsequent NDC government 8 years to try to revive it. How can that effort be described as industrious, especially that no sooner had it been commissioned than it was pronounced DEAD!

Even the Accra-Apedwa road is not complete yet, after 8 years of NDC's monotonous tune of "Transforming Lives" - a sham, a scam, and one big damn! There is nothing good in the NDC! It is a party of unruly organisms, indecorous, vile, disrespectful, spiteful, and SHAMEFUL.

Imagine that Volta Chiefs who have been the vote bank of the NDC for decades were recently insulted and slurred with evil of the worst kind by NDC communicators and executives.

How can the hierarchy of that Party allow the sacrosanctity of the honourable chiefs of the Volta Region be desecrated by pejorative pronouncements of foul mouths that know no respect and understand no humility?

Felix Ofosu Kwakye, it is not impossible to expose your inanity. Nana Akufo-Addo said it as is, and you lied badly in your futile attempt to run for cover.
