What is the roll of Supreme Court , I think it's there to interpret and explain the constitution not to make laws the constitution is the law of the land not what a group of people think

Any court judgement without evidence is bogus.Abu Ramadan nailed himself by going away from his initial case into another pure political arena.Initially,he went to to ask for interpretaion of one of the provisions in the 1992 Constitution which allowed eligible Ghanaians to register with NHIS Card in 2014.The Supreme Court ruled in his favour that it's unconstitutional to use NHIS Card to establish one's citizenship.
Then he went to court again asking the Supreme Court a whole number of things which has nothing to do with interpretation but enforcement of orders as if dictating to the EC to do whatever he likes.
On the 5th May,2016;the SC gave an order to the EC to delete or clean the the names of NHIS registrants in the register "to comply with with the provisions in the 1992 Constitution,and by applicable laws of the country."Ask yourself,what are the applicable laws first?
The EC said it will comply with the apex court order in compliance with the applicable laws.Tell me what is wrong with it?
Then Abu Ramadan didn't want to know anything about "applicable laws" which was ordered by the SC.
Therefore in his understanding the EC has failed to comply to the court orders.
He decided to go to court for the 3rd time asking for further direction,note that this has nothing to do with interpretation as it was in the initial stage.
The SC again ordered the EC to present the list of NHIS Card registrants of which the EC complied again.
Now listen,Abu Ramadan told the court that the list is fake,spurious so he will not agree to that.
This is not a matter of interpretation any longer,it has become a legal battle.
Then ofcourse,if Abu Ramadan has now decided to battle the EC in court then the judges have no option than to ask for evidence,as simple as abc.Here is where the Chief Justice,Georgina Wood said,gentleman,if you disagree with the EC's list then please kindly go and bring us your evidence to counter the list of the EC for us to know the truth.What's wrong with that?Thank you.

The Supreme Court is making sure the EC does the right thing. Africa is so far behind with electoral practices. All because of cheats and fraudulent practices. Just clean the register and let the chips fall where they should ...

Just clean the register and let the chips fall where they should fall without manipulation. After all the voice of the people is the voice of God. That is democracy not cleptocracy.

I believe true citizens and sympathizers of Ghana would advocate for advancement in our practices no matter the party in power. Wrong things done during the NPP government do not qualify to be right now and and must be corrected now. We shouldn't hide behind selfish desires to hold on to power and assume everything is alright. Change now.
