  The case of Rawlings is very disgraceful. He is a cheat after all. I think its NDC phenomenon to deceive. Mahama is also a cheat. That is why he can't discipline his appointees. They arr all cheats.

  Mr. Rawlings has accused everyone of corruption since he shot his way into power. He has defended the of two heads of state and military leaders for taking power to enrich themselves with no evidence but small commrcual loans to build estate house. He mockingly nicknamed his successor after a notorious armed robber. For 30 years despite evidence that his wife and his top advisors were receive payments from top firms and contractors none of the accusations could be linked directly to him so he continued to accuse everyone of theivery and lack of patriotism successfully casting himself as the only Ghanaian statesman and patriot with 100% integrity. This falsehood and myth has finally been broken, not by a Truth and Reconciliation Commission but by Mr. Rawlings own confession that he accepted a $2m unexplained from the late Nigerian dictator Sani Abacha, after having public denied the accusation that he received a $5m gift to lobby for General Abacha not to be kicked out of the Commonwealth. It is recalled that Mr. Rawlings did put up a spirited defense of General Abacha that sounded very odd and disingenuous to Ghanaians and Nigerians alike. But you see Karma is a bitch - Mr. Rawlings has confessed to committing the very same offense for which the Military heads of state Generals Acheampong, Akuffo and Africa were tied to the stakes and punished by firing squad - overthrowing a constitutional government representing the sovereign will of the people to enrich yourself. This was the AFRC'S operational definition of high treason for which the Generals were shot. God has forced Mr. Rawlings by this singular act condemned himself to the same crime of silence on corruption by shame until death. The ghosts of Acheampong, Akuffo, Afrifa, Boakye, Amedume, Utuka, Kotei and Felli are singing praise with the Lord with the angels and Professor Mills, Nana Okutwer Bekoe, Krobo Edusei, Siaw, Boakye Matress, BA Mensah, GE Amoah and all the good citizens of Ghana in heaven Flt. Lt. Rawlings sacrificed to build his false image as a revolutionary who hates corruption. Vengeance is truly the Lord's
