  Vigilantism is a threat to democracy and the the president should give all the necessary support to the IGP to disband all those groups. Whether NPP or whatever party, the president MUST show leadership now

  Quite a masterpiece. Everything possible should be done now to disband these terror groups and Parliament should rise up above political divide to put mother Ghana to her rightful position by ensuring that there's rule of law in Ghana. The whole world is watching and listening. Politicians should be watchful of their utterances and actions. The law must be applied fully to outlaw all vigilante groups of existing political parties. These monstrous groups will be nursed by these same politicians for their political gains and when the groups become more robust and uncontrollable, they will turn on the heat on the innocent citizens by unleashing terror such as kidnapping armed robbery and freedom fighters. And of course govt. will be distracted from governance and huge resources of the state will also be channelled in seeking containment of ills. We have peace now and we are toying with it. We will not appreciate peace until we see war. Our political class, our political elites that are suppose to lead us to the path of growth and development are the same people who want to set fire in Ghana by their actions and utterances. Often times is the behaviour of politicians that invite the soldiers to sojourn into politics. Politicians should conduct themselves well and save mother Ghana from terrorism. If this is not handled well it can even lead to ethnic cleansing in future as political parties appear to garner their strength along ethnic lines. It may appear like a child's play now but This's how it always starts. The dreaded Boko Haram started exactly this way and later given religious colouration. Ghanaians will live to regret if this proliferation of terror groups from the political parties is not nid in the bud. Now is the time.
