Historical Precedents Suggest Paid NDC Criminal Thugs May Have ....

Penetrated Invincible And Delta Forces.

The NPP leadership and the party as a whole, need to be very vigilant and investigate possible penetration of the Invincible and Delta Forces by criminal elements of the NDC party. These NDC thugs may be intent on tarnishing the good image of the NPP party. The annals of Ghana’s history are replete with identical criminal activities by NDC aimed at destroying the good name of the NPP party and I will cite a couple of examples.

It is well known and well publicized in the media, that during the campaign of then candidate J. A. Kuffuor to unseat the ruling NDC party, the DNC was using similar unlawful methods to derail the campaign of President Kuffuor and create public distrust in the NPP party as a whole. Elements of the NDC party were paid by the party to dress in NPP clothes, carry NPP placards and penetrate NPP campaign gatherings and create trouble. Naturally, the criminal intent of the NDC party was to wrongfully associate the NPP party with lawlessness in the minds of the voting Ghanaian public.

A Ghanaian friend of mine who pursued post-graduate studies in South Africa years ago told me about his firsthand experience in South Africa with a Togolese which underscores the criminality of the NDC party and its notoriety for transcending international boundaries. A fellow student at the South African university introduced himself to my friend as a Togolese citizen. This Togolese would latter ask my friend if that guy J.J. Rawlings was still president of Ghana, to which my friend replied in the affirmative. The Togolese guy would then make the following confession to my friend:

”Ha, Ha, Ha, you people in Ghana think you have a legitimate leader and a legitimate government but that is not true. Anytime Rawlings ran for president, they would come to Togo and collect us in multiple bus loads to go and vote for Rawlings even thought we are not Ghanaians. I was sent to Ghana to vote for Rawlings even though I am not a Ghanaian, I am a Togolese”.

It is not natural that NPP loyalists, having won the battle to occupy the seat of administration would turn around to destroy the rule of law, a critical element upon which the success of the current NPP administration hinges. NDC detractors must be fueling the lawlessness confronting the nation under the guise of the Invincible and Delta Forces and I have cited sufficient historical precedents to substantiate my claims.

In the past NPP was helpless and so the NDC got away with their criminal activities, because the NDC was sadly in control of law enforcement and security establishments. At the moment the NPP is in control of the entire establishment and the party must use all investigative and law enforcement tools at their disposal to bring to justice any NDC thug implicated in the current lawless activities perpetrated in the name of the Invincible and Delta Forces. If the NPP fails to act, these NDC thugs could cause irreparable harm to the fortunes of NPP.
