  We have never found any reason the respect the intellect of anyone, any party, any CSO, any government official, any person, who would be interested in "Revenue Management" but have no interest in asking if Ghana is in fact getting its fair share of the oil revenues in the first place. This article fails miserably on that front.

  This is what I wrote on the previous posting of this article, edited and embellished for effect.
  
  First, I am not impressed that there is not a single comment on this item (now only Prof. L has posted his previous comment too). It is a testimony to the fact that the vast majority of miseducated Ghanaians have no clue as to what is happening in the oil sector and they are too lazy to find out. Yes, most simply haven't taken seriously all the articles GIGS and the FTOS-PS/Gh Campaign Team have been putting on the web. Perhaps, it is because they don't have a clue about the subject and can't make figure out what all the hue and cry was about.
  
  Of course, I am not impressed with what the writer put out here. Yes, it is true that the media in Ghana, including the MyJoy Group, have been bought up by the Oil Cartel and so have refused to publish articles by the aforementioned campaign groups which challenge the lies which NGOs being funded by the Oil Cartel, paramount among them, ACEP, have been putting out to deceive Ghanaians, some of self-same lies this writer has repeated here. Even on the few occasions when they invited GIGS, it often turned out they were just set ups arranged and skewed in favour of the groups supporting the Oil Cartel which, as a rule, paid for such farcical media charade without even prior disclosure that they were sponsored events. So Ghana Star, a front for the Oil Cartel, has been bank rolling practically all MyJoy events on oil and gas and other events.
  
  I have no doubt that the writer here is among the scores of beneficiaries from the Ghana Star cum ACEP Oil Money for Brainwashing Ghanaians Fund. No wonder, no mention is made here of the positions of GIGS and the FTOS-PS/Gh position, that's, Ghana has lost over $6bn for not adopting Production Sharing Agreement. We get a lot of mispresentations though, e.g., PNDC Law 64 was outdated. In fact, together with PNDCL 68, they are better that Art. 919 of 2016!
  
  And then this bald-faced lie.
  
  "The delay in the passing of new laws and regulations led to the signing of contracts with International Oil Companies (IOCs) under the outdated Petroleum Exploration and Production Law of 1984 (PNDC Law 84) which the February 2008 conference had deemed obsolete because of changes in the industry."
  
  First of all, it is a blatant lie that the contracts Kufuor, Mills and Mahama signed were guided by and conform to PNDC Law 84. The writers conveniently forgot to mention PNDC Law 68 too, which together with Law 84, established a PSA fiscal regime in Ghana to guide the Petroleum Model for contracts. However, the agreements signed so far were all Royalty System or Modern Concessions, thus contravening the existing PNDC Laws. GIGS has therefore declared these contracts illegal, and ultra vires and defended that in an article none of the scoundrels on the take were able to respond to publicly. We shall go to the Supreme Court to prove this.
  
  Ghana is in the grips of bastards and scoundrels, and clueless Ghanaians who refuse to learn are simply bemused. Some of us cannot be fooled by the KOSMOS/Tullow and their hirelings who have managed to fool the mass of Ghanaians. Tullow even put up a website fraudulently proclaiming that Ghana adopted PSA in order to optimise revenue from her oil reserves, knowing darn well that they agreements they have so far signed were not PSA contracts. What can be more fraudulent than that? But, it is clever decoy designed to deceive and distract attention from critical examination of the contracts, and it seems to be working too.
  
  In a Whatsapp group where I posted some of our articles, someone brought that web site to challenge me, asking why we are campaigning for PSA when Tullow said we already have it and if the govt wasn't aware of the situation! Of course, it leads to querying our competence and honesty, as some simply couldn't believe that Tullow would do something as dastardly as that! You can all go and take a look at it before they remove it. They have already replaced what was originally written there with the contracts.
