The days of my lost flower

Wed, 10 May 2017 Source: Robert Abeku Ansah

For many uncounted years ago,

When children could still blink their eyes to see the kneels of their fathers,

At the time when mothers were mothers in the motherland,

A child was born, but she got lost and she could not be found.

She was lost and lost for many uncounted years when children were still children.

For many uncounted years ago,

This flower lost its sepal and the petals could not stay in the calyx any longer

So the stem fell to the base.

It is a flower that had blossomed from the spring sprinkles

And the sunrays have gently shined brightly on it each day.

It controlled the sentimental aesthetics of mankind

The moment when man could stop breathing to admire nature

With emotions and a touch of pearls

And a feeling of inner self and soppy romance

For many uncounted years.

The days when love was love

And the moment when men could stop breathing to admire nature,

The flower of the world sprung up at the age of my compeers

A generation that could only bet on an appealing image of the divine

Is the age of my flower; the amazing creature of my pulsate beat.
