Phillip Kobina Baidoo on Superstition, Opportunity, and Manna!

The way we read it, it is Phillip Kobina Baidoo alone who can turn a failing experiment and social dysfunction in a democracy into a win in the eyes of Phillip Kobina Baidoo. You see, when the highest echelon of corporate America became even more whiter, losing one of just six (6) CEOs who are Black to net 5 CEOs who are Black, in a sea of 500 (five hundred) of America's largest companies, Phillip Kobina Baidoo argued there is no need to worry (about the 1% of 500 CEOs for Blacks); Black Americans as a whole have made it in corporate America and elsewhere.

Look at Micheal Jordan, he says!

Look at Oprah, he hollers!

So, we present another installment in our series, "Phillip Kobina Baidoo On...."

READ:

"...Currently, there is no single soul in any Western society that will tell you that slavery is good. ../... If American society is still racist does it make sense when the same racist America allows characters like Michael Jordon, Magic Johnson, Oprah Winfrey, Tiger Woods and many more to flourish?.../

/...I really do have sympathy for ignorant uneducated people, because they haven’t had the sort of opportunities that I have had in my life.../... "...Currently, there is no single soul in any Western society that will tell you that slavery is good.../...It is very important to ask the question why it took more than seventeen centuries after the Sermon on the Mount for Christians to develop hatred for slavery. It is also equally important to note that it happened. The seed for that was planted when Jesus began his mission in Galilee. In his first recorded sermon he quoted Isaiah... ‘The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the broken-hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised.’.../

/...I thought we were voting into power a new generation of thinkers; not knowing the same non proactive, inside the box, chew and pour myopic thinkers, and the worse of all superstitious believers.../

/...How can a whole president who obtained his degree from our prestigious Ivory Tower – Legon, behave like a wimp in the face of wishful piffle? Currently, this

is what I will tell the President....Don’t be a poodle and kowtow to the desires of some insignificant ecclesiastical clown who plays on the fears of the people.../

/...Manna does not fall from heaven anymore if that is what prayer does. It did happen briefly more than 3500 years ago. Through extraordinary feet of divine engineering the Jews were shepherded through the wilderness with a pillar of cloud by day to shield them from the scorching desert Sun, and a pillar of fire by night to augment the moon, and perhaps mimic a tinsel town effect to sway their minds from any figment of nostalgia. And the icing on the cake was the Manna that littered their encampment, but all that ceased when they entered the Promised Land and it has never been replicated anywhere again.../

/...Wealth is good; I doubt if anyone with common sense can deny this. Money is what makes the division of labour possible..."
