The second (2nd) edition of the Ghana Golf Awards comes off today, December 27, 2014 at the Events Haven, Trade Fair Site, La, Accra.
The event organized by the Ghana Golf Association (GGA) and powered by Primeval media seeks not only to confer honours on distinguished golfers who have excelled, but to encourage support for the sport in Ghana.
The event, which will take start at exactly 18: 00 GMT, will see great personalities and dignitaries in attendance.
Amongst the dignitaries expected to grace the awards are life patron of the event Okyehene; Amoatia Ofori Panin, Sir Sam Jonah, Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Vice Admiral Mathew Quarshie, and CAL Bank Director, Frank Brako Adu Jnr.
The event will see these various categories receiving awards: Amateur Golfer of the year for male/ female, Most Improved Golfer for male/female, Most Promising Golfer for male/female, Junior Golfer of the year for male/female, Senior Golfer of the year for male/female, Pro Golfer of the year, Golf Personality of the year and the Golfer of the year 2014.
GBC Pacesetters Band is set to serve guests with good music at the event tonight.
