Aboakyer Golf tees off on Saturday

Accra, May 4, GNA - The Sixth Annual Aboakyer Open Golf Championship tees off at the 'Windy Bay' Golf Course at Winneba on Saturday, May 7.

Mr Kwesi Essel-Koomson, Captain of the Achimota Golf Club who announced this in Accra on Wednesday said the one-day 18-Hole Stableford event, which is opened to both amateur and professional golfers is being sponsored by Accra Brewery Limited.

He said the management of the club is putting finishing touches to the Course to make it playable Professor Michael Ben-George, President of the Golf Association would take the ceremonial tee-off. 04 May 05
