Accra, Jan. 8, GNA - The Achimota Golf Club in Accra will open this year's activities with the January Medal Championship on Saturday, January 13.
Mr Emmanuel Kwesi Oteng Aboagye, General Manager of the Club who announced this in Accra on Monday, said more than 100 golfers are expected to participate in the one-day 18-Hole Medal Play competition which is being sponsored by Voltic Mineral Ghana Limited. He said Mr Mike Ezan, President of the Club would use the occasion to deliver his New Year message to the members. Golfers use Medal competitions, which are played monthly to sharpen their strokes for major competitions. 08 Jan. 07
