Geoffrey Avornyotse and Vivian Dick were the proud winners of the final edition of the 2017 MTN CEO’s Invitational Tournament which took place last Saturday at the Celebrity Golf Club at Sakumono in Accra.
Rising female star, Vivian Dick from the Royal Golf Club in Kumasi won the Ladies Group A with a total score of 35 points. She received a trophy and an ipad as well as free fiber broadband for three months.
Mrs. Owusu-Adjapong placed second with 34 points and Mona Myers-Lamptey was third on 32 points.
Geoffrey Avornyotse won the Men’s Group A with 38 points and got a trophy and new mobile phone as well as free fiber broadband for three months.
Runner-up was Gabriel Ayiwah on 37 points total score, with Mathias Dorfe placing third and Thompson Kome Adzei took the fourth position.
Benigno Mimis won the Men’s Group B with 42 points, Maxwell Prah was second on 37 points and Alfred Baku took the third position with 35 points.
Helen Appah also made sure her name was on the winners list as she claimed the Ladies Group B trophy.
MTN Senior Manager, Regulatory and Governmental Affairs, Mr. Maxwell Prah commended the participants who turned out and winners who defied the showers and stayed to receive their fantastic prizes. He noted that MTN owns the Golf Space in Ghana as they have organized quality tournaments that have drawn many top and popular golfers.
He said golf makes one healthy and it is an exercise for networking, promising that next year would be better.
He stated that 2017 is extraordinary and an eventful year for MTN and the MTN Foundation which hit ten years and implemented 142 projects with a eotal investment of $13million.

He named some of the end to end business solutions of MTN including Converged Communications, MTN Cloud service, leased lines, APNs and video Surveillance. He urged Ghanaians to take advantage of the MTN solutions.
