Ecobank Chairman’s Seniors’ golf at Achimota this Saturday

Banking giants Ecobank make a return to the Achimota Golf Club this Saturday February 25 when they stage this year’s edition of the Ecobank Chairman’s Seniors’ golf championship. Tee-off is at 7 am.

Ecobank will be sponsoring the tournament previously named the J.S. Addo Seniors’ Open with attractive giveaways for winners of the one day stableford competition. A total of 120 golfers are expected to play in the contest which will be via first come basis.

Men with handicap18 and below as well as ladies with handicap 27 and below qualify to play after paying the entrance fee of GH?20 (twenty Ghana Cedis). The tournament is open to amateur golfers of Achimota, Tema, Celebrity, Bok Nam Kim golf Clubs and invited guests of Ecobank only.

Play will be divided into three sections with 55 years and above category as the main event which will have prizes at stake for top 5 men and the first four ladies.

The supporting event is that of the 45 to 54 years category which will reward 1st to 4th top men as well as 1st to 3rd ladies.

Completing the competitions line-up is the special group who will play only 9 Holes and who will have the top two for both men and ladies’ categories rewarded for their efforts.
