Finals of Peugeot Challenge Cup fixed for July 2

Accra, June 26, GNA 96 The finals of this year's Peugeot Challenge Cup Golf Tournament, have been fixed for Sunday, July 2, at the Tema Country Golf club.
The competition, which is in its 20th year, promises to be more exciting.
According to statement from the offices of Prestige Motors Company Limited, sponsors of the competition, the finals were preceded by three regional qualifiers from which 100 golfers had been selected for the main event.
The statement said, the competition was aimed providing an opportunity for rewarding stakeholders of the company and to show the world what the company stood for.
It said, the event also signifies the ever deepening involvement of the company in Golf, which is built on shared values for aesthetics, style, control, precision, excellence and respect for nature. At stake will be gold, silver and bronze trophies for outstanding players, whilst two winners; one each from male and female categories will represent the nation at the Peugeot International Pro-Am Tournament in August, this year.
The two will also participate in two prestigious golf courses in Saint-Germain-en-Laye and Joyenval in France.
