Accra, Nov. 20, GNA - Ghana Commercial Bank Limited scored 15 points to win the Fourth Annual All Banks Fun Games held at the El-Wak Sports Stadium in Accra on Saturday.
Agricultural Development Bank came second with 13 points followed by Stanbic Bank (Ghana) at the third position with 10 points while Bank of Ghana took the fourth position with seven points. CAL Bank, Standard Trust Bank, Metropolitan and Allied Bank shared the fifth position with four points while The Trust Bank occupied the sixth position with no point. The competing teams participated in soccer, athletics and tug-of war. Mr Edward Boakye-Agyeman, President of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (Ghana) said the games which were instituted by the Institute some three years ago was aimed at making workers in the banking and finance industry fraternize with each other and also help them to manage stress and keep fit at all times.
He commended Prestige Motors Company Limited for supporting the activities and expressed the hope that they would fully sponsor the event next year.
