Accra, July 8, GNA - Ghanaian senior golfers across the country are expected to battle for pride on Saturday, July 17, at the Tema Golf Course in a special one-day competition.
The competition is being played to honour one of Ghana's modest senior golfers Amos-Derbey, who turns 71 on the day.
The full handicap 18-hole will attract Amos-Derbey's compatriots mostly from the Achimota and Celebrity Golf Courses.
A source at the Tema Golf Course told the GNA Sports that although Robert Aziamakpor and Vetsch-Bempong, winners of the Peugeot Challenge Cup are fairly young, they will be allowed to participate to serve as a brush-up ahead of their championship in France. 08 July 04
