Accra, Dec. 12, GNA-The Takoradi Golf Club Captain's Prize Championship scheduled for the Takoradi Golf Course on Sunday, December 14, has been postponed indefinitely. Reverend Lee Mensah, Captain of the Takoradi Golf Club, who did not assign any reason for the postponement said a new date would be fixed. Meanwhile, Achimota Golf Club would host their President's Putter Championship on Saturday, January 10, 2009. About 200 golfers throughout the country are expected to participate in the event, which would be sponsored by Mr Mike Ezan, President of the Achimota Golf Club. Mr Kwabena Oteng-Aboagye, General Manager of the Club has said.
