Prison dares Police in Handball League

Accra, June 11, GNA - The Ghana Prisons Service will play host to their Police Service counterparts in the sixth week clash of the Handball League on Thursday, June 12 at the Prisons Complex, Cantonments.

The clash, expected to be full of thrills will be preceded by an encounter between the female teams of the two security services. A statement signed by Saka Acquaye, Secretary General of the Ghana Handball Association (GFA) has described the clash as the star attraction of the week's clashes. Interestingly, Police won the earlier meeting between the two sides by a close margin of 22 to 20 at the same venue few weeks ago. On Friday, June 13, HOSTAC will host Great Fingers International at the Azumah Nelson Complex while Kpando Young Hands engages Future Stars at the Kpando Stadium.

Later on Saturday, Armed Forces will take on Asomdwe at the Burma Camp Courts in both male and female divisions.
