Winneba to host intermediate handball course

Accra, June, 15, GNA - The Handball Association of Ghana (HAN) will organise a one week Intermediate Coaching Course at the University of Education, Winneba from Thursday, June 21 to Thursday, June 28. The Course, which will be run in collaboration with the University will afford successful participants the chance to top up with an Olympic Solidarity Course slated for Ghana in September this year.

An announcement by Mr Saka Acquaye, General Secretary of HAN named the facilitators for the programme as Mr George Bankole, national handball coach, Mr Charles Mensah, chief handball referee and the general secretary himself.
It said successful candidates would be given certificates, adding that the course would be strictly non-residential.
The announcement entreated interested participants to contact Mr W.W. Agbeko, a lecturer at the department of HPERS of the University for further details.
