Bajfreight Hockey Gala rained-off

This year’s Bajfreight and Logistics Hockey Gala Championship was rained off after a heavy downpour during a semi-final match between Tema Manhean and Young Financiers in the youth category, at the Theodosia Okoh Hockey Pitch in Accra on Saturday.

After waiting for several minutes, the umpires declared the unplayable therefore, postponing the competition to Saturday, April 18.

Reformers will play Police in the ladies finals, while Exchequers of Bank of Ghana take on Trustees of Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) in the men’s finals.

Meanwhile, negotiations are currently going on between the management of Bajfreight and Logistic, and the Greater Accra Hockey Association, for the extension of the sponsorship by Bajfreight.
