The national hockey team, the Golden Sticks are getting set to begin preparations for their world cup qualifying tournament in South Africa.
The tournament is scheduled to begin from October 1 to October 10.
In order to afford the Golden Sticks enough preparations ahead of the South African tournament, organizers of the game have suspended the Areeba hockey league.
The league is expected to bounce back after the South African tournament. However, the senior Areeba league comes off tomorrow.
This season?s gala champions, NDK Financiers would seek to finance a good show over the Veterans in the first game.
