Hockey will not be one of the competitive sports at the 2015 All Africa Games.
This is because hosts Congo Brazzaville do not have the facility required to play hockey.
The All Africa Games is usually used as the qualifier towards the Olympic Games.
The Africa Hockey Federation is thus now forced to organize a separate tournament in Egypt later this year as the qualifier for the Olympic Games.
