Trustees coach, Edmund Ayertey has warned against complacency when his side lock horns with Exchequers in the men's finals of the Bajfreight and Logistics Hockey Gala finals on Saturday at the Theodosia Okoh Hockey Stadium at 5.15 pm.
Following Exchequers shock 3-2 victory over 2014 finalists Police in last Saturday's preliminary round action, Ayertey told the Daily Graphic, "This is a cup competition and anything is possible as evidenced by that result.
"Before the start of the competition, Police along with Trustees were the favourites but now Exchequers proved that they can defeat anyone on their day." Mr Ayertey stressed that Exchequers victory over Police serves as a warning about the threat the team representing the Bank of Ghana pose to his side.
In another intriguing fixture, Young Financiers will resume their youth semi-final game with Tema Manhean at 3.00 pm after it was halted by intense rain last Saturday with the winner of that tie playing Real Ambassadors in the youth final.
In the women's final, favourites Police will be counting on the influential Umaru Nafisatu for goals when they engage Reformers of the Ghana Prisons Service.
Sponsors of the competition, Bajfreight and Logistics will hand out awards and trophies to all finalists after the final game.
