Judo Association goes to Congress on June 4

Accra, June 3, GNA - The Ghana Judo Association will on Friday, June 4, holds it first national delegates congress at the Press Centre of the Ohene Djan Stadium.

The Congress is to elect executives to steer the affairs of the Association for the next four years.


A statement signed by Patrick Anyidoho Cofie, Secretary General of the Association mentioned positions to be contested for as Chairman, Vice Chairman and two other members.

He said each Regional Association, registered clubs, Referee/Judges Association, Coaches Association, Ghana Polytechnic Association and the National Sports Council must present one delegate each with one voting right to attend the Congress.


He said the names of the delegates must be furnished with the Association latest by Thursday, June 3, 2010.
