Ghana Armwrestling Federation will storm Sunyani this weekend
Haruna Tahiru’s dominance in Ghana armwrestling is under threat following words of cautions by Antwi Boasiako Maka to defeat him in the upcoming Brong Ahafo Armwrestling Challenge.
Antwi Boasiako in an audio available to GhanaWeb fired a salvo at the reigning SWAG Para-Athlete of the year, threatening not to only beat him in an armwrestling contest but also break his arm.
“For real you wanna battle me. Boy I’m gonna break your arm. I’m gonna make you feel boneless, he bragged.
But Tahiru who is determined to continue his dominance in armwrestling has in a sharp rebuttal warned Antwi Bosiako not to be overly confident and that he will be no match for him.
He dared the president of the Ghana Armwrestling, Charles Osei Assibey to stage a contest between him and Antwi Bosiako so that he adds him to the list of people who have fallen victim to his incredible battling skills.
“Maka, I’m ever ready to meet you. Anytime, anywhere I’m ready to meet you. If you like ask Barrister (Charles Osei Assibey) to fix the match today, I’m ready to face you”, he retorted.
The exchange between the two talented armwrestlers is expected to whip up interest in the “Bring Your Match" Armwrestling Battles that storms the Brong Ahafo Region this weekend.
The challenge which is dubbed “Bring Your Match” is set to target different entertainment venues to encourage participation of many in the sport.
